I had heard a lot of great things about Rare Breed, but I stayed away from it initially as I was scared of the proof. However, as I have grown in my bourbon journey, I found this is one I reach for often and an absolute staple I tell people about.

This was a replacement bottle, the first was getting low. Fantastic flavors, great viscosity and proof point.

Always have a bottle in the cabinet for at least 10 years. Recommend as a good entry into higher proof bourbons when asked.
