I purchased these hydrangeas for my son's wedding reception at our home. I followed the advice of others and had them delivered 2 days before the event. The flowers arrived via UPS at the exact time qouted on the tracking site. They were boxed neatly, and each stem had a small water baggie attached. I clipped each stem diagonally and filled 2 large buckets with flowers. We then clipped each stem again and placed them in vases for the tables the night before the reception. On the day of the event the flowers ere absolutely GORGEOUS and perfect. We even made a toss bouquet from 3 stems that were leftover. I gave some of the flowers away and kept a few for our home, I even took a few stems in a mason jar to place in my office. One week later and I still have a few beautiful stems left. This is a fantastic value and the product is of great quality!

I ordered these flowers to be used as centerpieces for my wedding reception. They came out absolutely perfect. Just one downside: they were delivered on Friday instead of Thursday. But the reception hall took care of arranging them. Other than, an absolute pleasure

I ordered 60 stems for my wedding reception centerpieces and I could not have been happier! They arrived in great shape a day before the ceremony. Followed the instructions and by the next day they were amazing! Huge, full flowers!! I too was hesitant to order from online but take my advice. They are beautiful!! Strong, healthy looking flowers.

After ordering a stunning bunch of Alstroemerias which lasted over two weeks, I ordered 30 stems of White Hydrangeas which arrived 2 days prior to an event. Although the box was a bit crushed, I was impressed that the flowers were individually wrapped to protect each flower. I followed the instructions to prepare them immediately placed in water in multiple sizable vases . The flowers opened up beautifully after a few hours. They were huge! 12 hours later they wilted! 15 flower heads (in different vases) wilted and petals began falling off! I had to scramble to redo the displays. By the time of the event all but 5 hydrangeas were alive. Such a disappointment. Unbelievable. I tossed them out planning to contact Sams for a refund Unfortunately, it turns out you have to take the product to the service desk. Well mine were is a trash truck so clearly that was not an option. I would not recommend the hydrangeas at all. I would post photos but this website is not uploading them.

I ordered 60 white & 30 blue stems for my son's wedding in the end of Feb. I did 18 centerpieces w/ between 6-8 white stems surrounding a blue stem (w/ other accents) for a full effect. The flowers came when expected and in extremely good shape. We did as directed: unwrapped, de-leaved (be careful w/ the small ones close to the bloom - we lost a few partial blooms w/ careless tugging), cut the base of the stem diagonally, & submerged in buckets of clean water in a well-air-conditioned room (NOT refrigerated). They weren't very dehydrated to start w/ but even still filled out even more after a day. They also withstood being transferred 60+ more miles in a vehicle and looked beautiful even after 3 days (delivered on Friday morning for a Sunday night reception). I got rave reviews from the guests - they were a BIG success & I was so pleased. My ONLY caveats were that the white blooms were not as large as I hoped or expected - the blues were HUGE - probably almost double the size of most of the white ones. Because of that & the fact that I had 18 tables to provide for, I didn't have enough blooms to really fulfill my vision. Therefore, I went scrambling for a wholesaler in Orlando to purchase more on an early Saturday morning. As luck would have it, I found a GREAT one that was only open until 11:00 am on Saturdays. I purchased 70 more white blooms - I probably only needed 50 more but I wanted to be safe. I have to say, I wish I'd known about the wholesaler before - the whites I bought from them were of equal or better quality (maybe fresher?) and they were over $1 less per bloom. Although I wasn't charged shipping from Sam's, just having a local flower provider makes for less stress on a DIY project during a wedding weekend! So my long-winded recommendation is: these were definitely worth the price (it was the BEST online price I found) if you can't find a local wholesaler to work w/ in your area & I was very happy w/ the condition they all came in - I didn't throw a single bloom away due to dying/wilting/ browning etc.). Just make sure you plan accordingly for size & number for your needs. That being said, if you are the parent of the bride or groom - DON'T take on such a huge project unless you have LOTS of help! This commitment kicked my tail, I have to admit. I had quite a bit of help w/ it from start to finish & it still completely drained me & stressed me out at a time when I should have been really enjoying my son's wedding weekend. Unfortunately, I do not have any photos yet - when we get them back from the photographer, I will try & post a couple to show my 'work' - it really turned out so beautifully! I have never reviewed a product before but I felt that I should share my thoughts this time. I ordered these hydrangea stems for my daughter's wedding celebration. I ordered 60 stems. They arrived 3 days prior to the event, as ordered. Each stem was packed with a baggie of water attached at the base. I clipped the ends and placed them in (six 5-gallon) buckets filled with water and floral preservative. I stored them in a dark area of my basement. One day before the event we made arrangements. They were stunning and so easy to work with. There was only one broken stem but we were able to use it for the cake topper! I also ordered assorted greenery which was also amazing. My one disappointment was that my sunflower order was canceled at the last moment due to lack of availability. I was able to find replacements in my grocery floral department. Ten days later the arrangements are still beautiful. I wish I could upload a photo. I couldn't be happier...I just can't bring myself to put them away until they start to wither! I was so nervous about ordering online, I hope my review helps someone.

I ordered 90 stems and each one of them was wrapped individually. They came on the day I ordered them for. I followed the instructions carefully and they turned out beautiful. Mine didn't last 3 weeks because I cut them off the stem to make hydrangea balls, but they still lasted over a week which was great in my eyes because the temperature was over 100 degrees the next day after my event.

I bought 60 stems of these hydrangeas for my wedding in September, and they were the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen. I needed 30 stems for my centerpeices, and was concerned with only ordering 30 in case some died, so I ordered 60 and we were able to use every single stem. I had so many extra flowers I had to go out and buy vases so I could use them for decorations. The flowers were delivered on Thursday - the boxes were in pretty rough shape so I was a little concerned, but we followed the instructions. We took all the flowers out and cut the stems (make sure you buy floral shears, the stems are very thick!) and we left the plastic wrap on the top of the flowers. We put them in large 5 gallon buckets filled with cool water and then we put them in the basement. The flowers were beautiful right out of the box, and a few hours later once they had been in water they bloomed even more. The flower heads were enormous. They transported very well and were perfect for our wedding on Saturday. After the wedding we brought a bunch home and when we came back from our honeymoon 10 days later some of them were still alive. I would highly highly recommend these flowers. They are so cost effective and they were beautiful.

I had never ordered fresh flowers from a warehouse before so it made me nervous when my daughter wanted to order flowers from Sam's for her wedding! The flowers were delivered on time. We ordered white hydrangeas and yellow roses. They arrived in seperate boxes and surprisingly one came FedEx and the other came USPS. Each box was in good shape but we did lose about two blooms per box. The roses opened nicely in time for the wedding. We should have ordered the hydrangeas 1 -2 days earlier than the suggested order time. They were a bit green for the wedding and opened beautifully two days later.

If you are thinking whether or not you should purchase these flowers, don't hesitate about the price or quality!!! These flowers are awesome!!! The quality & freshness is incredible! The delivery time was right on! I'm so glad we decided to go with Sam's club for our flower choice - worked out PERFECTLY! Also, this was for Our Wedding in July. It was very HOT, b ut still the flowers came delivered awesome! We made our own center pieces with these flowers. Definitely recommend :)
