But now it's just my husband and I, lm loving the handheld sealer more than ever. Everyday uses like cheeses and deli meats keep longer and I'm not throwing them out. I just LOVE it!!

Less money wasted with this paying for itself over and over. The variety of accessories gives versatility. Can also use for smaller items for safe keeping. A great gift to save money and waste.

I bought this machine with the intentions of saving my meat items from freezer burn. As soon as I received it, I read the manual and went to work sealing the items I had wrapped and frozen in zip lock bags. It was easy to do, I really enjoyed using the machine, worked like a champ.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking at having to throw away a lot of meat before I got the Food Saver Vacuum Machine.It took a while to seal all of the meat,but it well worth it.the bags that came with it were a big help and the bags take up a lot less space.I'm really that I got the Food Saver,now freezer burn want be a problem.

I just purchased the Foodsaver and have no idea how I’ve lived without it. I’m the only person in my home, along with my two pets. I mostly cook for myself. In the past I’ve passed up the great sales at my local meat market because buying in bulk is far too much for me, and it goes bad in the freezer waiting for me to use it. However with rising food costs I decided to purchase the Foodsaver, and I purchased a 10LB package of ground beef, and a bulk package of pork ribs, both at ridiculously low prices. This item is a gem! It works perfectly for my needs. I used a manual cutter to slice of my bags for my items and sealed one end, cut my ground beef into about 1Lb pieces, put them into the bags, smashed them down a bit, and used the vacuum/seal function. I marked the bags with date & deposited them into my freezer. It was that easy. I cut each slab of my ribs in half, cut my bag long enough to accommodate, and followed the same routine. Since I feed my small dog a quarter cup of human grade dog food per day, I’m constantly throwing it out before he can consume a whole bag. Now I can measure out a weeks portions, and freeze them until needed!! I highly recommend this item, and the fact that it came packaged with the rechargeable hand held device makes this that much better!!

This model is extremely user friendly and easy to use. This kit really has everything you need to get started. The seal is air tight every time keeping food fresh in the freezer for months. The handheld sealer is cool. I wish I worked for more things than the specific baggies, but that’s ok. I will need to get more of those. In my opinion… every household, big or small, needs a Foodsaver.

It has everything for you to start right away, it is simple to use and much more Self explanatory than the one we have already. We love that there are explanations on the product itself. The set comes with all kind of different bags and sizes, It is just so easy, and We are excited about the idea of all the food we can save. We've tried the handheld sealer, and love it too, for a one time use, it just works with specific bags though, oh and the bags for the handheld are also reusable! I would highly recommend to keep more food in your fridge and more in your wallet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This FoodSaver FM2000 Vacuum Sealer Machine is a pretty nice little machine. It does sometimes act a little picky about placement but I think the more I use it the better I get with it. When I do get it right the machine is really nice, taking all the air out and sealing up great. The machine feels sturdy, not cheap, and should last a long time. The pre-cut bags are great and work for us (two in our house).

The food saver is compact, light, and easy to use! I've used my vacuum sealer on ALL my meat and it works so well and is so easy to use! I've created SO MUCH SPACE in my freezer!! The replacement bags are very affordable and will not break the bank. And the handheld vacuum is amazing!! I swear, there is nothing that thing cannot seal!! 10/10 recommend!!

It’s super simple to use, the pre-made bags are simple to just fill and go. The rolls make it simple to adjust the bags to what you need. It’s so simple, you cut, seal, stuff and vacuum. Done! I got 4 pounds of ground beef, 5 pounds of chicken breasts and 10 pork chops vacuum sealed and in the freezer in under an hour! The zipper bags are fantastic for cheese and deli meats, and with the hand held vacuum my son can even do it after making a sandwich! This has helped to cut down on my grocery bill!!!
