Good price, but slices are a bit small, compared to other breads offered elsewhere as they are usually dented squares rather than the familiar domed slices. I only buy these occasionally, preferring the Ingle 2-lb loaf most of the time. This is a lot of bread for our small household. So, we freeze the loaves, taking out what we need for a day or so at a time and thawing in a plastic bag at ambient. That way the bread stays fresh for weeks as the staling owing to retardation of the starch crystalline structure is vastly reduced.

I personally do not prefer this type of bread but nobody else in my house will eat good bread so I am stuck buying white bread. This brand is better than the store brand and strongly preferred by my husband and son. 1 24oz loaf usually run about $3.20 at Kroger getting 2 at this price is a good deal.

This is truly my personal favorite bread. You might be saying I can't go through 2 loaves in one week. This bread is fresh when you purchase but stays fresh so is still fresh to eat the next week. Price point is good, loaves are slightly larger then average size loaves.

Bread was best by the date purchased. This order was ordered for pickup. Was not gathered until we arrived. (Which was during the last 20 minutes of the pickup time range) When purchase in bulk, product should be fresher in order to last long enough to be used. This was money and time lost.

Not as soft as I remembered but is still good.

Nothing special about it.
