My daughter bought two 1/2 gallon size units over a year ago. My wife had a stroke in June 2020. We were concerned about the air quality in our home. We purchased an air quality meter which measures particulate matter in the air. We couldn't figure out why our air quality was in the unhealthy range. Somehow, we figured out that it was the fact that we were using tap water in our unit. If you research, you will find that along with water vapor, the ultrasonic vaporizer will also spew out the dissolved minerals found in all tap waters. When we used distilled water, the air quality PM particles went down to nearly zero. So, if you are using tap water, you are getting moisture in the air, but you are also getting particulate matter which will affect your health negatively. The photos tell the story.

We left this running in our 11 month old son's bedroom overnight and came in this morning horrified to find that the room was intensely cloudy and smelled like engine exhaust / smoke. Our fire alarm actually went off once the rush of smoke came into the hallway. There should be some safety mechanism to turn off when the engine is overworked. We will not be using this product any longer.

I like the idea that you can put a filter in there so that you can use regular tapwater I bought a filter and I am waiting to see if I get any white residue on my furniture if I do then back to the distilled water. I just replaced this humidifier with the one that I’ve had for years this one is much better works great.

We have the Crane Drop Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier in blue. My son had a cough & wheezing at 3 months old. As a first time parent, that is nerve wracking! I used our Crane humidifier all through the night (yes! It ran all night!) & during every nap for about 6 days. I noticed improvement by the morning of day 2. I just pointed the spout in the direction of his crib. Very easy to clean and refill. Highly recommend! I love it! FIVE STARS FOR SURE!

We’ve had this for a couple months now, so I feel like I can give a full review. My girls’ allergies are so bad here where we moved, and since we started using this humidifier, we’ve been having WAY less bad days of sneezing and runny noses. I feel like it also allows them to get quality sleep. It’s especially helpful if they have any cold like sniffles. Love love love! Will continue to use and recommend to all.

After owning several humidifiers over the years and after seeing a product review by Jamie the "baby guy", I decided to try this Crane Drop. It is quiet,easy to set up, and cool to the touch. I love the ease of use,built in night light feature, and simple cleaning procedures to keep it germ free for my family. I did purchase the hard water filter which makes our hard tap water work well in this machine. A simple baby bottle brush is all we use to help keep the spout and base.

I am so glad we got this Drop Cool Mist Humidifier! We originally got this for our baby’s room to help with dry skin and nasal congestion. It was perfect for the nursery because of how quiet it is when running! We now use it in our room especially during the school year and winter months to help keep sickness away. It really works wonders for congestion, dry skin, and chapped lips. Depending on the day we move this to different rooms and it has worked well in our small nursery, to medium-sized bedrooms, and larger basement. We can really notice the difference between when we use it and when we do not. I can’t imagine going through the school year let alone a winter without it. Plus it looks nice and decorative. We hope to purchase more for our house soon!

While this humidifier runs great, very quiet and efficient, it is impossible to clean!! I have even reached out to customer service asking about it and nothing has worked. We had to throw the top away because even though I followed the directions and used distilled water, there was gross buildup. Would like to try the top-open version of this product and see if it is easier to use.

I recently purchased the Crane Ultra Sonic Cool Mist Humidifier for my home. I noticed the difference in air quality right away and was able to sleep peacefully without worrying about dry skin, lips, and nose bleeds that typically come with the Arizona heat and pregnancy. We love our humidifier and are looking forward to using one for our baby when he arrives this November. Overall, the product is phenomenal and has made sleeping at night much more comfortable for us.

I needed to try humidifier. I closed my doors in a regular size bedroom in Florida and put on high. I tried several nights and never experienced humidity at all. The mist nozzle never had a moist feeling at all but I ran it for many hours and several nights.
