WAITING FOR NOTHING

I never got the Michelin tires. Auto technician had trouble getting the left rear tire off because of a lug nut. Auto technician took my car in the bay racks. Per the paperwork he kept my suv for about an hour. I sat in the food court nearly THREE HOURS,THREE HOURS I sat there waiting for my suv to be finished. The supervisor brought me my key and paperwork. Explained to me why my tires could not be put on; because of the lug nut on the left rear tire. So I said no work was done, because your auto technician couldn’t get a lug nut off. She said we didn’t want to be liable for any damages to your suv. Your auto technician had my suv for ONE HOUR and didn’t do any work to it. Why have I been sitting here in the food court for almost THREE HOU...

Great tires but with two caveats

Excellent tires but with two caveats: expect 10% hit on the gas mileage and significant variation in road noise increase depending on the road surface types. I have a hybrid and mileage dropped from 40 average to 36 (verified in 5 full tank cycles). The road noise at or above 60m/h varied on road surfaces in highways, ranging from 60 to 76 dB (while my old Mxv4s had max around 64, with little or no dependency on highway surface types).

    Worth the money.

Purchased these crossclimate 2's about six months ago. I have driven them in weather from +30 to -35 degrees Celsius. They have great traction in all weather, they have good road manners and they are quite. I will put these on our other vehicle soon.

    Very quiet and smooth ride.

I bought these about 8 weeks ago and have traveled thru the Rockies on 2 round trips with snow and ice in several passes while tires gave me good traction and gr8 braking. On dry or wet pavement tires are very quiet with superior ride quality over my Michelin Defenders. Handling thru corners is excellent for a touring tire as well. Just 2 negatives, the tires vibrate between 35 - 45 km/h a bit and they are noisier on some of the cement bridge surfaces. Huge plus is about 4% increase in fuel mileage.

    Excessive pulling

These are good in snow, rain, even had good luck on ice. But after only a couple of months I’ve noticed they’ve started pulling all the time. I’m constantly having to make small steering adjustments I’ve never had to do before. After looking online, seems like it’s a pretty common problem with these tires. Sorry I took the recommendation of the tire shop now…

Excellent on wet roads, roads with de-icer applied and snowy roads.

I had these tired installed on a 3000 lbs curb weight wagon/hatchback, about 6 months ago and have been very impressed. Typically with funny wheel drive, starting on a hill on wet pavement involves lots of patience to get going without sitting there spinning the tires. That is greatly reduced with these tires! They are just as impressive in the snow. I drove up a steep street, without being able to get much momentum due to pedestrians sledding in the street, with about 6 inches of snow that was semi-compact having been driven on by a 4 or 5 vehicles. There was some wheelspin, but I was controlling it and didn't lose momentum. The only con is a little hit to fuel economy, which isn't as bad after they break in. They are also great on ro...

    Very quite, smooth ride!

I researched for a tire that was good for all four seasons and just not an all season radio radial tire but something that performs great in like even deep snow or hot Arizona sons son. I was looking for a tire that had great traction ratings on dry and wet conditions, all season, snow rated and good for the Arizona heat. This tire was really the only one that had all those parameters along with the high mileage, 60k long lasting. I had them installed today and my first impression is OMG! These tires are so quiet, the ride is so smooth, when you go over a manhole cover kind of thing you can’t even feel it, it just feels like you’re right you’re sitting on a cloud and again it is just so freaking quiet. Tomorrow we’re expecting snow and ...

    I wanted Michelin Tires !

Well, I JUST filled out the Warranty papers - I bought the tires in September, 2023 & it's now late April, 2024. Being a 74 year old woman, I am NOT wild about the fact that in order to register my Warranty, I had to kneel down in my garage to get the DOT number. Why the heck doesn't their Dealer put that on the Sales Slip ? To me, that's something Micheling should control. Anyway, they're on the back, where I had a puncture of one of my tires. I don't notice much but I DO test them when in rains and I'm in a safe place. I go about 45MPH and slam on the brakes. They perform well. That's what I am most interested in so I'm happy with my tires.

    I am impressed

I was skeptical about these All-weather tires until I put them on my daily. I have used sets of UHP tires on my other cars and I am impressed by the performance in both dry and wet for tires that you could also use in winter conditions. Speaking of winter performance, you cannot expect it to be as good as a set of dedicated winter tires from Michelin or other decent brands, but as long as you know how to drive properly in winter, these tires will serve you well and you don't have to buy another set of wheels and tires anymore. I did not test it on the same car but personally I think it even outperform some cheap or old winter tires that I have tried. If you are on the fence, just give it a try and you are not going to regret it.

    Not quiet

Just got these yesterday. The ride quality is very good. Stopping, quick lane changes, curved entrance and exit ramps all good. However there is a rumbly sound. Its is evident at low speed like in a parking lot or neighborhood or at interstate speeds it gets more noticable as you go faster.

    Michelin Cross Climate 2 review

TWO THUMBS WAY UP!!! The Michelin Cross Climate 2 tires have exceeded my high expectations! The most notable, unexpected feature is a much smoother, controlled driving experience on my 2020 Acura MDX/AWD. I’m really impressed and pleased with my purchase. On a side note, the tire’s really do enhance the look of the car (WOW!).

Great smooth ride with very good steering input.

I just got these tires installed and they don’t ride they glide over thr road with very good steering input and soft smooth ride. They are less noisy than the Michelin defenders I had before. Will know more after a few thousand miles but my initial impression were wow. What a smooth ride. Michelin has consistently made good tires and have never disappointed me or left me stranded.

    very disappointed

I can’t count how many sets of Michelin tire I have purchased. Bought these for a Ford Transit Connect Titanium wagon. Spent numerous hours sound proofing it. Van is light and has basic suspension. Therefore asked for the best tire, irrespective of price, that would provide a smooth and quite ride, while providing good winter traction. The ride in now rough/stiff. Despite all the sound proofing, the road/tire noise is very pronounced, especially though the front struts. There is now a vibration that comes through the steering wheel, particularly at slower speeds, and to add insult to injury, the gas mileage is off a solid 10%. They do provide good winter traction, but so do the Michelin tires I put on my daughters car this summer,...

    Great all around tire!

I purchased these tires for our car prior to heading up towards Kamloops last November replacing our well used set of Michelin premiers. First thing I noticed was the feel of the ribs of the tread design in the steering wheel. These have performed well in snow and rain so far. Tread wear is good so far (expect to get much less with an all weather). No issues with breaking or cornering but we don’t have a fast car. 2011 Infiniti G25x

    Luv these tires!

I asked Microsoft Co-Pilot what tires I should get to replace the OEM Energy Savers on my 2019 Chevy Bolt Premier and the first recommendation was the CrossClimate 2's. I checked out the references it mentioned and sounded like these were the tires to buy. About 1500 miles in on them and I can't be happier with their performance. Super grippy in the wet!!!

    PERFECT FLORIDA TIRE!!!

Best tires I've ever purchased! Yes they're expensive, but its worth it. We live in Florida so traction and comfort are what's needed here. When it rains, you can't even tell water on the road, also the stopping power is legit as well! We love these tires, as does my parents.

I have only had these All Weather tires since spring and have yet to try them in the snow. But so far on dry pavement and I heavy rain conditions I am very pleased. The tires are quiet and seem to retain traction in heavy rain and puddle conditions. No signs of hydroplaning. I will be able to give a better overall review after the winter season

    Great Tire with Outstanding Reviews.

Excellent Ride and performance! When I was researching tires to purchase the Michelin Cross Climate 2 stood out because of the number of reviews. I found that on the 4 tire stores near me, the Cross Climate 2 had almost 5k reviews 4.8 rating. No other tire came close with number of reviews. This was a testament of the excellence of this tire!

    Best purchase ever!

I bought these tires back in November 2021 since I decided to work for DoorDash. Since people don’t like to go out in the rain and snow, I knew those days would be pretty busy. And let me tell you… BEST TIRES I HAVE EVER PURCHASED! If it wasn’t for my car being so low to the ground, I could go anywhere I want! No slipping in the rain and great traction in the snow. That’s not something you hear too often about a front wheel drive economy car! I’ll definitely buy these again!

    Good, but not Great (yet)

I purchased these to put on my Audi A6 Quattro to replace the stock Continental tires. There definitely is a difference in ride quality and very "grippy", but then again I will say that is probably true of any new set of tires. I've only put about 100 miles on them, mostly highway and residential roads. No rain and no snow yet, so I cannot confirm the claims of performance yet. All dry and speeds ranging from 0 to 75 mph. The ride is smooth, but not as smooth as the Continental but I expected such for such an aggressive tire tread. The one thing that I can say is that these are a little louder on the highway then what I was hoping for hence 4 stars. I thought the accoustic technology would have made them really quiet, but guess not. M...

    Great traction and better control.

I’ve had my tires now for a couple of weeks and you definitely can feel the difference with the control of your car. The tires definitely handle the streets better and in a turn the car seems to have better handling. I also love the look of the tire. Since their treads are designed a little differently it gives a tire a different look which looks nice on my 2018 Honda accord hybrid. I hope you find it helpful.
