We bought this to replace a junky mattress that came with our travel trailer. What a pleasant surprise on how affordable and comfortable it is. We opened it upon arrival and gave it 48 hours before using it. We experienced no smells. The bed shaped up nicely and fit our queen platform perfectly. My wife had back surgery 4 days before we used it. The mattress is firm and very supportive. The first night's sleep was good, considering how it is to sleep on a different mattress. As the number of nights progressed, so did our satisfaction with the sleep. It worked well for both side and back sleeping. The lack of movement from the other person rolling over or getting up/down was noticeable. We now have 10 nights sleep under our belts and are completely satisfied with our purchase. Highly recommended if you're looking for a firm, comfortable and affordable bed. We spent about 15% of what we paid for our Sleep Number bed and we're just as satisfied.

We purchased to put in the guest bedroom, and we had 70+ year old guests coming to stay for a month. Both are typically early risers getting up by 6 AM. However, after 3 nights on the bed they have been sleeping past 8 AM. Both have commented that they don't wake up with pains. Well worth the price, and we are considering replacing our own bed with one of these.

Bought this for my child's bedroom. It arrived within the time frame promised. The mattress is very comfortable and appears to be of good quality, especially for the price. When the product arrived and we removed it from the package I did not notice any odors at all. I think this is probably a great buy and a great value!

If you have a highly developed sense of smell, yes, you will smell this for about 10 days. After that time I took all the bedding and washed it again, and now I don't smell it. I bought this to replace the water mattress on the guest Queen bed. I couldn't be happier. Now it will be easy to move the bed around and maintenance will be a breeze. I took the recommendation of an online advice blog about what to buy to replace a water mattress. I could have a longer replacement mattress custom made for big bucks or just buy a Queen mattress. The recommendation was to just buy a Queen mattress. In this day and age of over the top ridiculous mattress prices I was happy to find this one. It's fascinating to watch this thing expand from a tightly packed 'roll' into the bed frame. Make no mistake, it did leave a gap at the end of the mattress box. I filled this in with 3 old flattened pillows stuffed into the end. This bed is in our office and I like to plop down and chat with Hubby while he's working. I do wish it were a mite softer. (I'm used to plopping down in a water cushion), but all in all am thrilled to find that this works very well.

Before I had an old pillowtop mattress and had trouble sleeping due to loose coils, etc. Now that I have the foam mattress, I sleep perfectly. I thought the height would be an issue since my pillowtop was about 10 inches but this 8 inch product does just fine in comparison. I like the mixture of firmness yet soft. It delivered in a very small box but expanded quite nicely after opening. I am very happy with my new buy and have enjoyed it for a few weeks now.

Purchased full size version for college student son (6'3", 185 lbs), who uses it on an Ikea slatted bed support. He loves it...says it provides both good support and comfortable squishiness. He has a similar twinXL mattress at home (purchased elsewhere) that is less comfortable. Only complaint is that price dropped by $30 the day after I ordered this for him! Memory foam mattresses often wear out after a couple years, but I figure he'll be out of school by then and can buy the next one himself!

I bought 2 twin mattresses for my young adult's room. She loves it and says its quite comfortable. The delivery took long because of Mardi Gras I was told. I highly recommend you purchase a mattress cover for protection. It comes in a white cloth that can only be spot cleaned. Other than that very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant about a mattress with no springs but boy was I wrong. Did not open it right away because I was not aware I was suppose to, however when I did it decompressed almost immediately. Got this for a 3 year old and she loves it! It is extremely soft and the green tea infusion is so relaxing. This mattress cannot be beat! Especially for the price!

We needed to switch to some full-size beds from twin size in spare bedrooms since our kids are getting married off and when they come to visit, the beds now need to accommodate two! We purchased one of the 8" memory foam mattresses to try out as a lower cost alternative. We received a few days after ordering and it came in a smaller size package that expanded up to a regular mattress upon unpacking. Made it easy to move in place upstairs! I have not slept on it but have slept on similar memory foam mattresses before and when laying down to try out, it seems like it would be good for everyday use. I placed it on a plywood base unit with a headboard that I made and so this was an economical way to go! We plan to get some more for our family farmhouse in SE Ohio.

The mattress arrived rolled up in a box and I followed the directions for opening it. Within minutes the mattress had expanded to nearly full size and had finished expanding in an hour. There was a very slight odor from the foam (to be expected), so I left the mattress uncovered until late at night and it was fine. Mattress is very comfortable and not too hard. My back is thankful for it. lol I will be ordering another one for my daughter's bed.
