I purchased this mattress for my guest room. It is especially important since I will sleep on it when I have guests. I always prefer foam to inner springs and am pleased with this mattress. Very affordable. I do wish it was made in America, and would have worked to find one that was if I had had the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Zinus Spa sensation Green Tea 8 inch twin mattress is great for my child’s bed. I always love how these types of mattresses come boxed. The box was not super heavy and not too difficult for a small adult to carry. There is a satisfying aspect of breaking the vacuum seal and seeing the mattress take its shape. The instructions said it needed up to 72 hours to completely decompress. I did a little more than 48. It fit very well on my son’s twin size bed. He is not a big kid so this mattress should last him a long time. The mattress has a weight limit of 250 pounds so this works great for a kid’s bed. I laid on it for a while and found it super comfortable. I appreciated the fact that it was cool and did not seem to overheat. I felt well supported but the bed was still very soft and comfortable. My son said that he has been sleeping well on it and has not had any issues. I will probably be getting more of these for my other kids. The one thing I am not sure of is if these would work well on a top bunk. You may need a 6 inch mattress instead. Overall, I am very happy with this Zinus mattress and will be a repeat customer.

Very comfortable from the first night. Right after lying down, it feels hard, but within a minute you sink slightly and get the support. We own other more expensive memory foam matresses - that we had to buy a topper for it - too hard. BUT not this one -it's very comfortable!

Awesome. Same quality as one's that cost hundreds more. So comfortable! Using this as my primary mattress. Arrived in box about 4'x2' and about 60 lbs. Easily moved myself. Unpacking it was folded twice and compressed in airtight plastic. Once I removed the plastic, it expanded to full depth in about 15 min. From unboxing to full expansion was maybe 20 min. Sheets and mattress cover fit perfectly. Its one sided so you wont/cant flip it.

Before I had an old pillowtop mattress and had trouble sleeping due to loose coils, etc. Now that I have the foam mattress, I sleep perfectly. I thought the height would be an issue since my pillowtop was about 10 inches but this 8 inch product does just fine in comparison. I like the mixture of firmness yet soft. It delivered in a very small box but expanded quite nicely after opening. I am very happy with my new buy and have enjoyed it for a few weeks now.

This is a very comfy mattress. It came rolled up in a box and took about a day to reach full depth. Like other reviews said, it takes several days for the odor to dissipate. However, I've had other foam mattresses (Tempurpedic) that smelled much worse. This wasn't really a bad smell, but it was pretty strong. This fits great as the mattress on the trundle of our guest room daybed. No one has actually slept on it yet, but just lying on it, it feels super comfy and comparable to my much spendier version.

Purchased full size version for college student son (6'3", 185 lbs), who uses it on an Ikea slatted bed support. He loves it...says it provides both good support and comfortable squishiness. He has a similar twinXL mattress at home (purchased elsewhere) that is less comfortable. Only complaint is that price dropped by $30 the day after I ordered this for him! Memory foam mattresses often wear out after a couple years, but I figure he'll be out of school by then and can buy the next one himself!

This is fairly comfortable if you’d like a firm mattress, but ours never expanded to the full 8 inches, and a pronounced lump remained even after several weeks. I think the issue was caused by the mattress being stored in a warehouse for far too long. The manufacture date on the box was May 2020, yet it wasn’t delivered until October 2021. Maybe it should have had a sell by date? We had previously purchased a similar gel memory foam mattress by a brand called Lucid, and had a much better result. It is still comfortable after a year of use. We ended up returning this mattress to Walmart. Although it was difficult to roll it back up and bring back to the store, the return process has been smooth. Unless you can verify the manufacture date has been recent, you may wish to consider a different product.

Bought this for my 13 year old who has sleeping issues and adhd... he sleeps better he gets up less times at night. I've flopped on his bed a few times to bug him and have been shocked how comfortable it is. I was worried 8 inches wasn't going to be enough but my mother was right this mattress is perfect:

It was compressed and upon pulling it out of the box it was cool to watch it expand. It took about 24hrs to fully expand but once it did that was that! I adjusted the cover on the mattress a little and it ended up being a great first big boy bed for my youngest son! He is so excited to have his big boy bed that he’s actually been asking to go to sleep!
