When the temperature got down very cold and my heat pump could not keep my house warm. I bought the Lasko all weather heater and fan. It helped my heat pump to warm up the house and the heat pump didn’t have to run nonstop. I already own a fan from Lasko and it works great. Lesson makes great products.

I bought this to use to keep the spare bedroom warm when my Mom comes to visit from Florida for Thanksgiving. It worked perfectly! Set the temp for what she wanted and it keep the room temp steady without running constantly and it is very quiet. The only downside is that the digital temperature readout lights are bright at night and kept the room brighter than my Mom likes at bedtime. A posted note covered it up just fine- problem solved. The price point for this product is amazing for the combo heater and fan that you get. I highly recommend this product.

Love this. The fan is really powerful and the heater heats our large porch with no problem. Very quiet even on high. Oscillating keeps the air flowing everywhere. Stylish looking and takes up little space. It even has a timer. Love it so much I am going to get another one for my craft room.

This fan is both a heater AND a fan. The one we bought last year was a heater only. This is definitely year round.

I love this heater I brought it for my bedroom it keep it nice and warm and I love too it has a timer and also have a fan so if I need to cool down I just set it to fan with remote control.I think I buy one more for my basement

Very good at least so far with the heat, have not used the fan for cooling, but i will say I have 4 Lasko heater/fans and I will stand by them and have for 10+ years, Fine products !

This heater/fan is a great concept and space saver, and I need white noise year-round so it was perfect for my needs. But there are a few design flaws. First, the remote control and tower have to be facing each other to work. With my other Lasko products, the towers could be off center a bit and still read the signal from the remote. I find that even directly in line, I'll hit the button on the remote to turn it on and the tower beeps, like its received the signal, but doesn't turn on. I have to hit the remote a second time to turn it on. Also, there is a blue indicator light for the fan that's so bright, I literally had to cover it with electrical tape to sleep. And before you say that's the reason the remote doesn't work well, it was doing that before I put the tape on. Plus another person posted the same feedback about the remote, that you have to be right up on the fan for it to work. The fan settings are also weird. When I turn on the fan, it takes a minute or two for the fan to come up to full speed. You can literally hear the fan speeding up and feel it blowing harder as time passes. This is annoying. I did keep the fan because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning, but for over $100 bucks you'd think more thought and effort would have gone into designing the darn thing.

Heater has nice output with different settings and the remote is a nice feature. However, there are two flaws. First flaw: Heater remains running when tipped over (tips often; see second flaw). Second flaw: Tips over often. The base is not weighted, so there is little stability. So if you're careful and don't knock it over, this is great. I work from home in a small space; my chair often taps the heater and over it goes.

It started a fire in my plug and wall. My quick thinking 14 yr old son grab the exstinguisher and put it out. It could have been devastating!
