Cant connect to smart things
My dishwasher doesn't connect to smart things. I even contacted the support and followed all the steps they asked me to but still isn't connected. Btw, I also have Samsung refrigerator, washer and dryer , all of which have no problem connecting to smart things, it's only this dishwasher which has issues.
Hi Yahska, It must be frustrating to have the dishwasher not connect to SmartThings, especially when your other Samsung appliances, like the refrigerator, washer, and dryer, are working perfectly with it. We are here to help. SmartThings greatly relies on a wireless connection. Ensure that your dishwasher is getting good Wi-Fi connectivity under the counter or inside the cabinet. I have shared the link to this model's user manual below. Please visit the link and turn to pages 35 - 36 for SmartThings and guidelines for connecting. https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202407/20240725150331825/North_America_DW5000C_WEB_DW0003_English_240710.pdf To supplement the user manual information or guide, I have also shared a Samsung link below to help with your experience. Samsung Dishwasher review - DW80CB545012AA
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am writing a review of Samsung Bespoke Dishwasher - DW80CG545012. This product is really amazing based on the following criteria: 1. Appearance - This dishwasher looks great and it attracts your attention. 2. Connectivity for convenience - The dishwasher is convenient to use and after getting it connected with the smartphone, it is just a click away to start the job and gives yoy alert when the job gets finished. 3. Usability and manageability - Placing the utensils in the 3 drawers is much easier as it provides a lot of room to place it without haggling. 4. Display of functions - Functions are pretty well displayed to operate and understand 5. Cleaning - This dishwasher thoroughly cleans each and every utensil, gives a satisfying feel to you. Above all, it's a good purchase which i have made and fully recommend to family and friends.
Techy Dish Delights with a Side of Frustration
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hey there, dishwasher seekers! So, we got our hands on this new dishwasher, and let me tell you, there's a lot to like about the Samsung Smart 46 dBA Dishwasher with StormWash (DW80CG5451SR). First off, it's got that sleek stainless steel both inside and out, giving it that modern vibe that fits right into any kitchen. And can we talk about the space? This bad boy's got a massive capacity, perfect for when you're hosting those epic dinner parties. But hold up, it's not just about looks and size. This dishwasher takes "quiet as a mouse" to a whole new level. Seriously, you could have a conversation right next to it, and you'd barely notice it's doing its thing. And here's where it gets kinda sci-fi: the Bluetooth tech. You can kick off a wash cycle from your phone, and get this, you'll even get a ping when it's done. Fancy, right? Now, before you think we're all sunshine and rainbows, there's a little hiccup. See, they only gave us a quick start guide or a Simple User Manual, but what we really wanted was a personalized manual just for our unit. Simply scanning the QR code didn't help and we had to play detective online to get the real scoop. Not exactly a smooth start, but Google was our friend as our model wasn't on the Samsung website per their instructions.. And here's where our patience got a bit tested. We're all for saving the planet and all, but we had to cave and use a rinse aid. Turns out, the dishes were on a mission to stay wetter than a dog in a rainstorm. The cycle time? Oh boy, be prepared to wait a solid 2 hours and 22 minutes. And just when you thought it was over, it's not – the door pops open to air dry. Without that rinse aid, you might as well start counting the hours; it's like watching paint dry, but less exciting. Seriously, we had to let them air dry for almost 24 hours. We now own a bottle of Finish Jet-Dry rinse aid - and I'm not a huge fan of adding even more chemicals to our home, but the machine works best with it - as the manufacturer suggests. Now, don't get us wrong, this dishwasher isn't too shabby. But truth be told, we might just be those "old folks" who aren't fans of change. So, yeah, it's cool and all, but let's just say we've got some mixed feelings.
Amazing Dishwasher!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung dishwasher - DW80CG5451SRAA is a Smart dishwasher. The functions are displayed very well and hidden. It has the StormWash setting, which is so great, and cleans everything so well, the 3 racks are adjustable and there is so much room space to load all the dishes and pans. I love how the dishwasher is so quiet, that sometime i barely know if it's on or not, but this is where the SmartThings app come in! It is so easy to set up, connects so fast and Oh boy i am able to control it, get notification once the dishwasher is done, and the best part is that the door pops open to air dry. How can you not love this! Now i always look forward to doing the dishes. I would highly recommend, this dishwasher.
Storm Wash Titan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased Samsung's latest dishwasher equipped with the innovative Storm Wash feature, which is a game-changer in our kitchen. This cutting-edge addition ensures that even the toughest stains and residues are effortlessly removed from your dishes. The Storm Wash feature utilizes powerful jets of water from multiple angles, creating a strong cleaning action that tackles baked-on food and grime, leaving your dishes spotless. We are also impressed by its sleek design which seamlessly integrates into any kitchen aesthetic, making it not only functional but also a stylish addition to our home. Another standout aspect of this Samsung dishwasher is its all stainless interior, which looks great and will last a long time. The easy-to-navigate controls provide a wide range of washing cycles and options, ensuring flexibility to meet your specific needs. Whether you're looking for a quick rinse or a heavy-duty wash, this dishwasher has you covered; it's 60-min quick cycle is surprisingly effective. Overall, it was easy to install, is quiet, holds everything we need and just works. Another great Samsung product.
Super quiet - looks great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delivery & install went perfectly! It's taken a little bit of time to know how to run my dishwasher - it's very high tech compared to my 20 year old dishwasher. It's a quiet machine & it looks great in my kitchen.
Read this if you are going to have it installed
I love this dishwasher, however the delivery and installation company RXO isn't so great. The delivery technicians barely spoke English and they left me with a dishwasher sticking way out of the cabinet. RXO only delivers to my area on Mondays so tomorrow I will have to take time off of work again tomorrow for a service call to try and get this properly installed.

Doesn't have a drying cycle, don't buy
This dishwasher came installed in our builders package. I hate that it does not dry the dishes, instead the door pops open and sometimes falls all the way instead of just cracked. Either way, the dishes are always soaking wet because they're is no heated dry feature! If I wanted to hand dry my dishes I would have hand washed them also. Ridiculous. There is no way to know when the rinse aid compartment is low. It is very quiet and cleans well but I need it to dry the dishes also. Looks like I might have to deal it out for the one in our old house, that builder package was much better- Whirlpool products, that we never had s problem with. The microwave in this Samsung package is pretty but takes longer to hear, popcorn button leaves tons of kennels, the oven chipped inside after 3 uses while I was just wiping up a spill with a wet rag. And the stove disks are in very inconvenient places. But, my complaint is that the dishes don't get dried by this dishwasher.
