I find these are hit or miss, but lately it’s been a miss. Beans turn brown after following microwave directions, some come out smoochy, hard or half cooked, are tough and stringy.

It may not be harvest time, but seriously the best greens for this time of year! And im picky with my fruits and veggies! And they last a good any of time!

These green beans are really tasty and nice quality. I was a little worried we wouldn’t be able to finish the bag before they started going bad, but they stayed fresh longer than I expected.

Sam's club has been substituting Square 1 Farms green beans lately (May 2026) and they're HORRIBLE. I've had them do this on two home delivery orders, even though the website says you're ordering Perro Farms. Both bags of Square 1 beans were poor quality, loaded with brown spots, spoiled within a day of purchase and the few we were able to cook before they rotted lacked any flavor. 2nd bag arrived in such poor condition, I didn't even attempt to use them and returned them to the club the next day. (So much for saving a trip to the club by ordering home delivery!) I've stopped including them in my delivery orders. I visited the club this week and they do NOT have Perro Farms - only Square 1 - yet the website still says you're ordering Perro. I hope enough people will complain so they bring back Perro Farms. Meanwhile, be aware of this poor quality substitution.

Very fresh with no inedible beans in the bag.

These are delicious, I just wish they had them all the time.

Tasty. Even though they're washed, I give them a rinse first. I break the longer ones in half, then put them into a microwave safe dish, still a bit damp. I sprinkle on spices: salt, pepper, garlic power, and basil. I cover the dish and cook it in the microwave on the vegetable setting, letting the microwave sensor handle the time and power. They come out perfect every time.

We found these green beans to be a little tough even after being cooked in a slow cooker.

Great side to stir fry with olive oil and seasoning of choice, crisp and fresh.

Fresh and great tasting. Bag says washed and ready to use. Lots of stems still attached. Not exactly ready to use.
