Couldn't find a date on the product. Lasted only a few dates before rotting. Salvaged a few for dinner and threw out the rest.

I'm so upset that our club switched green bean vendors from the previous brand to these! These beans are quick to rot, probably because of their "snipped ends"...despite looking fresh, when they are cooked up, the cut ends show brown edges. They are also sometimes stringy and coarse. Very disappointing...bring back the previous brand, please!

The first thing I have to say about these green beans is they are the perfect crunch. I love that the bag is resealable. I am the only one in my family that eats then so the resealable is a game changer because I can just have a handful here and there.

Slow cooked with a bit of salt, not much water, and a tablespoon of olive oil, these green beans are delicious and taste quite fresh, especially if cooked whole. They are already washed and easy to trim, so they are not much trouble to prepare. Just cook them, covered, over low heat for about 45 minutes; shake the pot every 15 minutes to toss and redistribute the beans and not to burn them.

To say these Green Beans are not short of AWESOME would be an understatement! Having personally worked for a division of Pero Foods the company i worked for was C&E Family Farms. Finest Owners and Company employees you will ever meet. I thoroughly enjoyed working here for a short tenure but LOVED every minute of it. The process of the Green Beans is what makes them above all else! You will not go wrong with trying them. The Hydro Cooling is what makes sustainably fresh, wonderful tasting and wanting more. A promise that if you try them, you'll be back again.
