Great features!

I absolutely love my new Samsung gas stove and oven. The stovetop has a griddle which heats evenly and is great for making a big family breakfast! It's easy to clean, which is super important to me. Oh, it has a self cleaning oven, too. This Samsung oven has an air fryer component, convection oven capability, broiler, and a sourdough bread proofing setting. It also has Bluetooth that alerts me to when preheating is complete and when the burners are being turned on ( a great option to have with little ones or even an elderly family member who may be forgetful). The controls are easy to use, the oven heats quickly and burners work great. I love my new Samsung oven! Oh, I love the broiler, too! I'm so glad that we chose Samsung.

Fast and efficient. Large oven space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Going from an electric oven/stove to gas took a bit to get used to. I appreciate the size of the oven, it is nice to have the griddle to cook on and the burners sure cook quickly. I need to figure out the timing and heat settings a little better, but so far I love it. Though I get notifications on my phone it would be really cool to preheat from the phone. That way when you get home it is ready for you.

So far so good

A stove itself Were range as it's called looks very very good it seems to function Extremely well. Of course the real test this time It's only been here three weeks. There are many features and we're still learning everything about it The BTU output is very welcome As it makes water boil more quickly and so far we haven't found Anything that's lacking

Good... but could be Great

Love this product. Looks great works great. Using for past 3 to 4 months and 2 issue i see and both are about the stove grate. 1) I feel the grate stands too high. Due to this every time usage is taking a little longer. Usual 5 mins work takes like 7 mins. It is just 2 mins... but 2 mins extra time in everything we do everyday means more gas usage. 2) It is a stupid design to put a horizontal bar right on top of the burner. So only flat vessels can be used. Anything with a slight curve at the bottom will start shaking or starts to rotate when we cook... since the vessel couldn't lay properly due to this center bar. I am even debating to cut a small portion in center so that all vessels stay put. Definitely person who designed the grate has not cooked before.

Bad expectations

Baking Problems

Range has some good features, the stove top and air fry work well. The oven is awful for baking. It was over-temperature from the time we bought the range last April 2025. Had tech out in November 2025, who replaced the circuit board. Worked OK until recently (March 2026), when a couple items were overcooked at the recipe times (and less than the recipe time and much less than I've experienced in any previous oven). Had a tech out again, who said that the oven is operating within specs. He did spend an hour testing the thing, but that doesn't explain it's recent performance. He said that the oven temp naturally fluctuates around the set point, within a specified range (looks to be +-18°F). But, it sure looks like it's not maintaining the set point. We've never had this experience with any previous range. Upshot is, I guess we'll have to constantly babysit this oven whenever baking. At least until we get tired of constantly checking on it when baking and replace it with a non-Samsung range. Not the quality and convenience expected for a new appliance at this price.

Would keep looking

Aesthetically speaking, I love this range and it fits perfectly into my kitchen. However it wasn't long into owning it we found the downfall with the touch pad for the oven. The buttons rarely work when needed and we end up having to triple clean the entire face in order to *perhaps* have the buttons work. It's frustrating and I would go out of my way to not recommend this oven purely due to this major flaw. The front double burner works to extremes along the lines of heating and is more problematic than helpful with temperature inconsistencies.

Awful smart controls, but it works as a range

First, this range does a very good job cooking/baking. The oven functions work well, with the convection settings saving time and producing good results. The air fry setting is not remarkable in my experience, and despite the info indicating preheating is not required to air fry, food is not done in the cooking times given if starting from cold. The stove top is arranged well, but the burner grates are to open for my taste. When the stove is not in use, we occasionally use our stove as an extra counter space, especially to hold warn items. Many items cannot rest evenly or securely due to the design of the grates. If you plan to use the griddle, which cooks well and is non-stick, plan extra time to clean the splatter on the stove top. Where this range is almost a complete failure is on the smart features. I had it connected to wifi, after many failed attempts, only to have it disconnect after a brief power outage. Multiple attempts to reconnect it failed, using 2 Android tablets. At this point, I guess I will give up on that. One of the features I liked about the Smart Things app was the ability to turn off the sound easily with a simple on/off button. (It's hard to remember how to do this from the range's panel!) Now, I guess I will just leave the sound off. That brings be to the last of the features I dislike, all the convenience features, like the illuminated panel and sounds are extremely overdone. The light is so bright that I can read by it in the next room in middle of the night! The sounds can be heard form outside our house. This is why I often was turning them off via the app, but now will leave the sound permanently. I wish there were a way to control the brightness and volume, but there doesn't seem to be be. As far as smart appliances go, this is the dumbest one design-wise I have ever seen. I would absolutely not buy this range again, especially as you pay extra for features that don't work or are annoying.

poor quality nothing but issues

have had ours for awhile and has been nothing but problems. all the knobs break on a regular basis. middle burner is almost none functioning, finish scratches extremely easy, samsung badging has fallen off and no read SUNG. oven temps are off by 25 degrees. only thing that i can say wokred well is the self cleaning feature and timer. we have a fridge, dishwasher and micro all other appliance have givin isues except the microwave. will not be a returning customer at this point
