What a Difference

I had extremely bald tires. I saw a rebate for a set of four tires from Firestone and decided it was a win-win. I had all four tires installed, and they are excellent. I feel like I'm driving a brand new car; the tires have a nice bounce and I cannot hear significant noise. I am thrilled with them. I also know that because this type of car has two different size tires, the shelf life is cut in half, since they cannot be rotated. However, with the 50,000 mile warranty and coverage that comes with the credit card, I am not concerned.

These are junk so far

I've had these on my fwd ford fusion and they blow hard chunks. I was barely able to get going last winter and I have all four leaking air after one year not the installers fault. Sure they handle good on dry pavement, but any sort of moisture forget it.

    Quick Wearing Tires

This is the second set of tires that I have purchased. The first set wore down at 30,000. There was no tread on all 4 tires evenly. Had to purchase another set through before warranty was up at a cost of 50% off per tire. The second set of tires are now wearing down just as quick at only 12,000 miles and the tread is at 5mm. At this rate they will be worn down long before warranty. Tires are not quiet at all, very noisy.

Needed A set of all seasons for winter, glad I got these.

I recently purchased my Wrx last April and its been a wonderful car. I live in Wi though and was looking for a good set of performance winter tires and theres not a ton of options for my factory tire size. Decided to go with these since it was the only name brand tire I could find that could be mounted and balanced for under $1k. These tires are actually pretty impressive, recent snowstorm made these tires shine. Get up and go, no problem, stopping about what you would expect. Ice they do not handle well, but not many tires will without studs. If you're looking for a performance tire that can handle winter, these are it.

    MODEL FIREHAWK AS V2

We replaced the original tires that came on our 2018 Buick Regal with the Firestone Firehawk AS V2 tires, set of four. To date, the ride in our car is much smoother and quieter. And it does appear that there is good traction in the rain and snow. Plus, the rebate helped.

New tires on a high mileage car

Noticed how quiet the tires were as soon as I left the store. Wet traction has been excellent. No snow to test them so far although the deep aggressive tread looks like it will be effective. Handling has been great on curvy roads. A bit more body roll than expected on a V-rated tire. Learning to trust the tires.

    New firehawk

I just got these tires a few days ago and I can already tell the massive improvement the new firehawk as v2 have with handling and cornering. I had a pair of the indy500 ones on it when I got it and they were a little old. But I swear these news shows gave the car more life. I love how it handles now.

As good as my dedicated winter tires!

This is going to be a long review and for good reason. These tires have only been out for a few months so there is hardly any reviews out there, so I'm going to be thorough to help fellow RWD car owners that have been in my boat. I own a Mustang GT that I daily drive year round. Some think that's crazy, but even in Omaha there is only snow on the streets for 7-12 days a winter, so why would I not drive the car I love year round? I used to have a separate set of winter and summer tires, but that is expensive so I researched for a better solution. The claims Firestone make on these new V2 tires seemed to good to be true, but I like Firestone so I took a chance. We just got hit with a snow/ice mix and there is packed snow and ice on the street...

    Very nice ride

I have had Michelin Energy Saver and Bridgestone Quiettrack tires since car was new. These Firestone's were less expensive and the ride thus far has been above what I had expected. In the AZ heat for the past 1,000 or so miles, they handle my country road commute great. I hope the construction of the tires hold up better than the previous "low rolling resistance" tires I've had. I've had 5 tires punctured beyond repair in 7 years. Looking forward to 50,000 more miles.

    Wet Traction

I wanted to put a few thousand miles on these tires in order to give an informed review. I researched tires for several months and kept coming back to these due to their hydroplaning resistance ratings and the science behind the tread design made sense. I commute to work about 400 miles per week in the Tampa Bay area where daily heavy downpours are pretty common. I could not be more impressed with the wet traction. Dry traction is excellent as well, noticed an immediate improvement in handling over my previous Firestone All-Seasons, which were a good tire. I have seen some reviews that complained about them being noisy, but I have not found that to be the case at all. If they make a size to fit your vehicle, buy them.

    Great Tires

Replaced Goodyear tires that where old but still had tread left with these and it's night vs day with these and I definitely like them! My other cars have the regular Firehawk and Firehawk Indy 500 summer tires! They have great traction in the rain and super quiet on the road! Will definitely purchase these tires for other cars when needed!

    In the door/out the door

Though I began on Sunday, August 30, 10 o'clock in the morning, I did not complete my search for tires until until Friday. However received the tires at store Saturday morning out Saturday afternoon. Do I have to drive a few more miles to get to that that station? I get decent treatment even good parentheses. Now let's talk about the tire brand . fire stone is hard to be they have been for years and years. I have a Mercedes Benz and and I love the brand. Good day doll Don . Oh, How do I answer the question of how the tire performs when this is my first time using these type of tires. And of course your computer won't let me out until I complete it. Period... that's why the straight down the middle rating!

    Overall satisfied

I just bought a set for my Impala and love the handing and the ride of the tire. They do amazing on wet roads. My only complaint is that they are not as quiet as advertised. They are quiet up to 65 mph but have louder hum on the interstate. Over all very happy with them so far

    Do not buy

Tires are supposed to be a 50k mile tire. They were shot after one year with only 18k miles on them and were rotated every 6k miles. Centers were wore down to nothing and they were not over inflated. Car was aligned when they were put on. Was driven all easy highway miles. Dealer said firestone rep would not do anything about it. Will be the last firestone tire I will buy. I would give them less than 1 if I could.

    Firehawk AS V2

3rd set of firehawks, 2 previous sets did not last long. Both sets start showing excessive wear at 10,000 & 20,000 miles eventhough tires rotated at 5,000 miles & alignment checked good. Giving Firestone last chance to see if tires do not wear excessive. If they do will not buy Firestone Firehawks again or any other brand

    Great Tire!

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with these tires. I've been loyal to Firestone/Firehawk for years on my Dodge Challenger, and the traction on these is superior! My attempt to "get loose" starting out in standing water was met with disappointment as the tire grip was strong to the pavement! Midwest winter driving will put these tires to the test, but am once again happy with my choice!

The Most Quiet Tire I've ever bought

I didn't originally want this model of Firestone. I went to my local tire shop with a different Firestone model of tie in mind, but the Salesman said trust him that I would love this AS V2 model. He was NOT kidding! These tires took about 30 dB (decibels) of Cabin noise out of my car. I have to play a book on tape while riding b/c it's so quiet, it might lull me to sleep. My gas mileage is better, too! Went from a 46-48mpg average to 48-51mpg average. My already comfortable car is even nicer due to these tires. Grip. These will handle a corner like nothing I've ever bought in the past. RE: the 1 star review I read before posting this review.... Possibly you had a bad experience b/c your car may have been out of line, or you forgot to rotate...

    Never Fails

Love my new Firehawk tires, just returned from Florida to Pa.1100 miles each way,the trip was safe and efficient,33miles to a gallon.Heavy rains ,winds and some freezing and still felt secure. Firestone has never left me down.I will continue to buy these for the life of my vehicle. Thank you Firestone.

Firestone Firehawk AS V2 are very awesome!

I just purchased a brand new set of 4 Firestone Firehawk AS V2 tires for my Acura TLX and I could not be more impressed with the ultra high performance of these tires. You can immediately tell when hitting the curves of winding Tennessee backroads of how well these tires handle and grip the road. It is just so much fun! Love these tires and highly recommend them!

    Not made for comfort.

I can't review the durability of these because I only have 3000 miles on them. But I will say they are noisy and a rough ride. My car's a sports/luxury sedan and with these tires it drives and sounds like a truck. Handling I'd say is a 3 and traction in the rain is a 4, on a scale of 5. Hopefully the durability out weighs everything else.
