My old Tempurpedic had started to get too soft after atleast 15 years of use. I started to have trouble sleeping with lower back pain again. I checked out some other brands but they just didn't feel right when I tested them out. The minute I tried out a new Tempurpedic I knew i had found the right mattress. It took about a week to get used to the firmness of the new mattress - the first few days felt like sleeping on plywood but after about a week my backache is gone and I'm sleeping great again. Tempurpedics are expensive but they are worth the money.

The mattress felt very firm from the start. It is not softening nearly as much as I want - it's still not like the showroom mattress or the two different soft tempur pedic mattresses I've slept on in the past. I'm 3 1/2 weeks in to the 'break in' period and I hope it improves soon. I'm disappointed - I was really looking forward to a great experience.

To be completely honest when I walked into the mattress store and saw the prices of these mattresses I was ready to walk out and get something more affordable. I purchased a brand new mattress about 3 years prior and since the day I bought it I've woken up in pain everyday and I didn't want to go through that again with a mattress that was more than 3 times the price I paid for my current mattress. After speaking with the sales person about return options and warranties I finally took a crowbar to my purse and bought the mattress. Let me tell you, this is the best mattress I've ever slept on. I wake up every morning and feel great. No more pain or numbness. No more getting massages because my back and shoulders are killing me. This mattress has changed my quality of life so much that if I knew then how great I would feel each day by changing the mattress I sleep on, I wouldn't have thought twice about the cost. You spend probably about a third of your life in you bed, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and get a quality mattress because it really makes a huge difference.

My husband leaves for work early in the morning and I would normal be woken up by his leaving but with this bed I slept right through it. It sleeps cooler than any mattress I've ever had. I sleep on my stomach, side, and back and it's comfortable any way. I go to bed happy every night.

I bought this bed because I was having major issues with back pain making it difficult to get out of bed in the morning - I opted to go with a firm mattress because this is what my mom had and it seemed to help her. My first night on this bed, it was so much firmer than anything else I had ever slept on before that I thought I had made a huge mistake in purchasing such a firm mattress. I wasn't sure about how long the "break in period" would take but after two weeks of sleeping on the mattress, I began to feel the difference and sleep better and better. I thought I bought the wrong firmness but after the 4th week, I knew I made the correct choice. After sleeping on other types of memory foam mattresses for over 10 years, I am totally convinced there is nothing better than my Tempur-ProAdapt. I will never go back to those other types and brands. Thank you Tempur-Pedic for giving me "The Best" mattress I've ever owned. Know more back pains or waking up several times in the night. I can't think of one thing I don't like or am sorry I spent a little more for a Tempur-Pedic. This is a quality product!

After years of use, we decided to replace our old Tempur-pedic with a new one. From the very first night, we experienced more restful sleep with no sore joints in the morning. Good sleep is a vital component of good health and we are glad we invested in this mattress

This mattress welcomes you quickly as it adjusts to your weight, and supports the body in a lovely way. We went from a split king to a full king mattress, and it has changed our lives. We get much deeper sleep and do not toss and turn as much, but my husband hogs a lot more : ) LOVE it!

We let our pups sleep with us and they move around at night which in the past would wake me up anytime someone shifted. The motion transfer technology on this mattress is incredible so I don't wake up when the boys move around anymore! As far as comfort goes it's like sleeping on a soft, cool cloud! I am getting the best night sleep of my life every night now.
