[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bed is ok, works fine, almost too firm compared to what we tested in the stores. Delivery and customer service were awful. Delivery "forgot" to put our bed on the truck the first day with little apology, more like "oh-well, not our problem." After a conversation with them explaining the difficulty in being away from work as we are both directors in our respective companies, they promise to schedule delivery for the following week, later after 4pm. 5 days later my husband is pulled away from work at because they were on their way to deliver our bed, absolutely before 4, well before 4. To make it right they offered to send us 2 pillows. Fine, I was going to purchase new pillows anyways. Although it doesn't return the significant time away from work I don't have to shop for new pillows. This was the last correspondence from them 3 weeks ago, mid-September. Since then nothing, no emails, no pillows, and no answering the phone. I sent a follow up email from my email address, my name was used to purchase the bed but contact info was for my husband so he could coordinate things, quickly received a response telling me to go to the third party I purchased from. I purchased directly through the web site. I responded with this information and my husband's information and received a very rude and short response stating they couldn't find any record of my purchase with them so they couldn't help. I've finally sent the correspondence with my husband attached to my email. Let's see what happens. I suspect more of the same- nothing.

I'm extremely disappointed with my Tempur-Pedic bed. I specifically chose this mattress and adjustable base setup because it's marketed as helping with comfort and sleep issues like sleep apnea, which was a major factor in my decision. After only four years of use, the mattress has significantly broken down in the middle—right where it's most affected by being propped up on the adjustable frame. This is especially frustrating because the entire system is designed and promoted to be used this way. I used the bed exactly as intended, regularly adjusting the base to improve my sleep. Instead of holding up, the mattress has lost its structure and support in a very noticeable way, making it uncomfortable and undermining the very reason I invested in it. To make matters worse, my warranty claim was denied due to a sweat stain. This makes no sense, as the breakdown is not even in the same area as the stain—it's in the section where the adjustable frame raises the mattress and where my body weight is concentrated. If the stain were truly the cause, the damage would be in that location, not in a completely different area. It feels like an excuse to avoid honoring the warranty rather than addressing a legitimate product failure. For a premium product that's supposed to be durable and supportive—especially for people dealing with sleep issues—this kind of deterioration in such a short time is unacceptable. I expected far better quality and longevity. Based on my experience, I will never buy another product from this company. Don't waste your money. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

Due to my spine stenosis, initially I bought a hard mattress which worse my pain. After 30 days , choose between Medium and Soft, and I switched to a soft one and the difference is huge. Much more comfortable, seems you are sleeping almost floating . I think it will get even better. Glad I did buy a soft Temper-Pedic

My wife hated it but compromised because I was working. When I retired we got the tempurpedic mattress it was for her I thought. It has been great for me!! No back pain, just comfort!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not joking when I say I was debating between getting a new car or a new mattress and I have no regrets in choosing the mattress. I opted for the soft after days and days of debating. I didn't want to spend all this money to start sinking in an ultra soft mattress. However, it's not ultra soft, I actually was nervous it was too stiff at first. It is the perfect amount of sink into it while still being super supportive. I actually could not figure out why I was having such a hard time waking up for work even though I wasn't exhausted and it took me a week to realize it was because I was sleeping SO good, I was just literally not used to getting that good of sleep. For reference I am 5 feet tall and 140 pounds. I feel that information is crucial in reading reviews on a mattress I want. I am very glad I did not get the medium.

I am bedbound, though I can take care of a few basic needs when alone. On my back, literally, always is a challenge for any mattress, and I have tried more than my share. Though my first Tempur-Pedic transformed itself into a hammock over ten years, I remain convinced that this Pro-Adapt will allow me to rest without bed sores for another ten, perhaps longer. This is not my first rodeo, but am convinced it is the best horse to ride!

I was hesitant at first when making such a big and expensive purchase on a mattress, but after talking to several friends who have had Tempur-pedic beds, I was convinced and I do not regret it one bit. The first night sleeping on the mattress, I got a full nights rest (which I had been struggling with previously). I would rate it a 10/10 and highly recommend especially if you have trouble sleeping.

I promise you that you can't lay on this mattress for long before you give into the need to sleep. For me and my wife it is cool, firm but so comfortable. I have had chronic back pain for years but in these last few months I haven't slept better. No complaints from us. G.M.B.

I have bought 4 mattresses from you. The first one bought in 2006 is still in our guest room and fantastic. The second one worked for 11 years and then you guys gave us credits to buy the two we have now. Also fantastic. My wife's mattress (we have split king) which is a medium is still great. Mine (firm) has been far less than impressive. But the worst of it is the dishonest way you “assess” damage. We did everything right. You refused our warranty claim because there are 2 pencil eraser sizes stains on the mattress cover (NOT on mattress. On mattress cover!!!). Your assessor said this is “water damage”. Complete and utter nonsense. Especially as the mattress sags on one side and the “water damage” is on the side with no issues.

After countless hours of searching and reading reviews and even 2 other mattress trials, we finally decided to just go for it. I'll say we slept better and hurt less after the first night and it just keeps getting better.
