I was looking to invest in a very good quality mattress and after spending many days researching and reading reviews and then several hours in stores laying on and trying out different mattresses, it ultimately came down to this model vs a traditional custom made mattress. Both were close to the same price point and ultimately I chose the Tempur Pro Adapt Hybrid. I love this bed for the fact that I no longer wake up with neck or back pain, and it is VERY comfortable, however the trade off is that I wake up drenched. Even though this was touted has having cooling properties, I did not find this to work for me. So if you are prone to sleeping on the warm/hot side, this is something to keep in mind.

All the TV ads and hype may be a bit exaggerated. I find my new mattress to be less comfortable than I had hoped. I wish I had asked about a softer model. I got the medium. It is not for side sleepers for sure. It also is not cooler as promised. For the large sum of money it cost, I would have hoped for a nice night's sleep and no aches in the mornings. Since it's still very new, I'm hopeful it will bring more comfort as it gets used more.

I cannot remember the last time I've slept this good. For most of us, with age come things like body aches and restless night. But not anymore! This mattress has been a life changer. I no longer wake up tired and achy, I wake up alert and ready to start the day! I was worried about the overall feels, a my husband prefers a more firm mattress and I like softer. However to my surprise it has been a great happy medium! Just soft enough to where I still feel like I'm on a cloud, yet firm enough where he doesn't feel like he's sinking in! They really do mean it when they say it conforms to every contour and curve. Don't hesitate, just buy it!

I would wake up to use the restroom at times twice a night. I would wake up with back pain. Now all those negatives affects of a bad bed have gone away. Also strangely enough now I dream almost every night as before I would rarely dream.

It's currently a little firmer than medium, but I understand that it needs to 'break in' to my body and will hopefully soften over time to its true feel and provide the perfect balance of support and plushness for an even more restful night's sleep. My wife and I have never had a tempur-pedic before, so although we wanted the upgrade, we were suspicious of the hype, especially about the reduction of body aches. Prior to this purchase, I had been waking up with stiffness & aches in my lower back and hip areas for some time. After the first night on our new mattress, I awoke the next morning - and every morning for the past 2+ weeks - totally free of aches & stiffness! We both have had more restful and deeper sleep, as well. The comfort level is better than we both thought possible. Highly recommended!

We had recently purchased a Sleep Number bed/foundation that we were very unhappy with. We returned it and immediately purchased a Tempurpedic. We had looked at them several times prior to the Sleep Number bed. We are now thrilled and sleep great with the bedding.
