I have been sleeping on an air mattress for many years. In that time, I have had many uncomfortable nights. In the month that I have had my tempurpedic, it's been a month of painless sleeping. If you have been having painful nights, I recommend trying a tempurpedic mattress.

Purchased our Temper-Lux Adapt in Firm, from the local mattress store we had purchased a knockoff brand from 8 years earlier. They were extremely helpful with our decision to purchase a Temperapedic Mattress. We love our new Tempur-Lux Adapt. With the new cooling technology, and layers of foam, it sleeps like a dream. After 2 months of sleeping on our new mattress. We don't wake up during the night hot, and we get up rested and refreshed after a relaxing night of sleep.

I am the Princess and the Pea story; I can feel every uncomfortable thing in a mattress. After going through many mattresses, including a $13k "natural" mattress that I threw out after a couple months, I have finally found the one that puts me to sleep. It is as comfortable sitting up with my adjustable base for watching a late night movie to a midday nap. I have a quilted mattress pad over it for extra loft and protection. The only negative is it took a couple of weeks for the new odor to dissipate, though I was able to open the bedroom to outdoors to help it along. I have the plush version queen with a matching pillow. I now wake up refreshed, even from just a nap; no more hip or shoulder pain.

We chose the proadapt soft king Two extra long twins and the the power base . Husband likes his but mine was not soft enough for me . I in turn switched to the luxe adapt soft as it has a thicker layer of the softer layer and it is also about two inches higher than his side ,but that doesn't bother me . it doesn't feel like I'm on a cloud like I was hoping . It is a different feel than a regular mattress . I like it most of the night but upon waking it feels a little firm still for me . With the power base you have a new bed every night witch is really nice All in all I do like it but not sure it's worth the high price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Note: I got the product for free in exchange for writing this review, but I've been a loyal customer for over 16 years and have purchased two other Tempur-Pedic mattresses. I tried switching things up and going with a hybrid mattress and then a traditional mattress for a bit and I'm back to Tempur-Pedic because it's just the best. Things I love about the TEMPUR-Luxe Soft: - It's not hot like some memory foam mattresses can be. - I can lay on my side and not feel like I have to engage all of my muscles to avoid rolling onto my back or stomach. - It supports all of my spine and conforms to my shape. - The edges of the bed have support, so you don't feel like you're falling off the bed if you roll to the edge. - There's almost no motion transfer, so we don't wake each other up every time we change our sleeping schedules. This is a HUGE plus for me. - It has support everywhere, and doesn't have that hump in the middle of the bed AKA "no man's land". - It's not such a deep mattress that you cannot find sheets (this was a huge annoyance with the hybrid. I spent so much trying to find sheets that didn't pull off!) - The break-in period was shorter with this mattress, and I'm not sure if it's because it's a softer model, or something else, but we had one night of wondering if we had made a terrible mistake and then every night since was great. - This mattress is a soft, but keep in mind that it's a TEMPUR-Pedic soft, which in my opinion is closer to a medium firm in other mattresses. I find it the perfect firmness, but this won't be like a pillowtop or a mattress with very little support, you still have the TEMPUR support even though it's "soft". - My husband and I agree on this mattress. Even though we tend to be opposite sleepers, we can both agree on TEMPUR-Pedic.

We've had the mattress almost 6-7 weeks now and regret our purchase. We have not had a good night's rest since it arrived. We were prepared for a break-in period but that came with severe neck, shoulder and back pain. As the bed became softer around week 4 - the pain got increasingly worse. We wake up several times throughout the night because we are overheated and no sleeping position is comfortable. We've bought at least 7 pillows because the reps at the store indicated that was the issue. It is cool to the touch but retains heat under your body which is really uncomfortable. We are both in our late 30's and wake up with almost every bone cracking and aching - feeling and sounding like a 90-year old. I cannot believe this bed is so expensive and highly rated. I called to initiate the return which is a 3-step process: you call the number, someone eventually calls you back and then you have to wait 2 weeks for someone else to call to schedule the pick up the mattress. Words cannot describe how outraged and disappointed we are.

I love my new TEMPUR-Luxe Adapt Soft Mattress. I also bought the adjustable frame and received two pillow as a gift, one extra soft and the other soft. I've been sleeping so much better now that I can raise the head side of the platform as I have allergies. The mattress is cool, comfortable and perfect for me. I like the extra soft pillow the best. The soft one is too firm for me but I wanted one of each to see. The service I got from Mancini's Sleep World in Daly City, CA, where I bought the mattress was super. Thanks so much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok. FIRST NIGHT SLEEP WAS AMAZING!!! No tossing and turning. I received the Tempur Lux Adapt Hybrid and OMG!! The mattress is first off is like sleeping on a cloud that doesn't sink but like meets your body contours. I usually wake up multiple times a night trying to readjust myself comfortably but that just wasn't needed on the first night of my new mattress. Im in love and can't wait to just get more restful sleep .!!!!

have had the product for 5 months now. Delayed writing a review to get a good break in period. I am a big guy and side sleeper and bought this especially for my sleep style. It does not cradle well in hips and shoulders so I toss because of the presure causing a sore back when I wake up. It is the soft model btw. furthermore, I am not sure if my king matress is actually a king! It seemed small and I mesured it a few times and the width seems off by a few inches. I know they say individual matress sizes may vary, but we are talking about three or four inches, to the point where i feel they may have deliveredthe wrong size!. I am overall letdown by this bed for the price. I have had a better sleep on way cheaper mattresses.

I bought this for my husband who was ill. He tried it out briefly in the showroom and thought was very comfortable. That and also because the salesman said this brand mattress was the best-selling in the USA. My husband got sicker quickly and did not mention how difficult it was for him to get in and out of. Too much time passed before I finally got him to admit yes, a poor purchase on my part; was too late to return/exchange. Now am stuck with this awful mattress. Each morning the fitted sheet has popped off, I've tried three different brands. I also had to place a 3" foam topper on because it is that uncomfortable otherwise. I do not recommend this brand mattress.
