I purchased this mattress on July 2019. I heard and read that this mattress would help me with my lower back pain. Although I don't like foam mattresses, I decided to give it a try because it was recommended. Tried it the first nights, didn't like it too much as there is no way to escape from the foam. After dealing with that foamy-thing, I started to feel that my higher back was stiff and I felt tired. However, as this mattress was recommended, I thought that my back pain was caused by a different thing. Last December, I had to sleep on a different bed for one month. My back pain disappeared. After that month, I decided to sleep again on my bed. The next day I was dealing with an excruciating back pain. I slept on the bed for one more week and the usual morning lower and higher back pain was back. What I noticed is that my hips sink on the mattress at a different level than my back and shoulders, and my back muscles have to struggle with tension all night long, causing extreme discomfort and back pain in the morning. It's been 6 months since I bought this mattress, so 90-day guarantee is gone and now I'm afraid to sleep on my own bed because of pain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, this may get long, so bear with me... I had a Cloud Supreme for many years, and it just wasn't working for my back anymore. I got a Pro-Adapt Hybrid Medium to replace it. Tried that for a few weeks, and I realized it was just too firm for me, and I didn't love the springs after not having any for so long. I did a comfort exchange with the retailer, and was going to have a Luxe-Adapt Soft switched with it. Then, I got to thinking, I may as well go all out and get the cooling Luxe-Breeze Soft... so I changed that delivery to the Breeze instead. I tried it for a few weeks, and while some may think it's soft, it truly is more of a medium feel, compared to the Luxe-Adapt. It still was a little too firm for me. I took a trip to a city that had an actual Tempur Pedic store, so I was able to lay on all of the mattresses, all fully broken in. The Luxe-Breeze was never going to get quite as soft as I anticipated or needed, so I came back home and did another exchange to the Luxe-Adapt. This one is very soft, and much better for my hip/back/shoulder problems. I was initially worried it was going to be too soft, but there is still a support layer to it, and it cradles my body better as I sleep on my side. If anyone is debating between the Luxe-Adapt Soft and the Luxe-Breeze Soft, they definitely have very different feels and softness. (They have different Tempur materials) I would still say the Luxe-Breeze is towards the medium side, while the Luxe-Adapt is very soft, cloud like. Thankfully for me, the third time was the charm!

I am utterly obsessed with my mattress. It is VERY soft - like, once you're in it you ain't leaving. But if I am stressed out, literally laying on this bed helps relieve all my tension! My husband has also stopped cracking his neck constantly and honestly the world is a better place because of that! *I was gifted this mattress in exchange for my honest review. I am very disappointed in this bed. I have always preferred a firm mattress. I knew at the store this bed was very firm but I expected the material to relax a little - just a little. Well, it didn't and we are close to three months. The adjustable base is fantastic, but it's crushing that we paid almost 7k for this mattress, we were very excited and we both leave The room in the middle of the night to find a guest room bed. We will be utilizing the "comfort guarantee", but are concerned about getting another Tempur-Pedic. This bed replaced a 17 year old Tempur-Pedic that was great. If you don't prefer to sleep on something that feels like a surgical table, skip this bed. Even my cat hates it.

Had original bed, Rhapsody Allura Countour pillow top, and now the tempurpedic Luxe Adapt firm. Didn't think they could get better. But! This mattress is just so comfortable and definitely cooler. Looking for 10 more years of good sleeping. Had 20 already. Started to look at other brands but realized after stopping at a store - Tempurpedic is the best. I know they aren't the cheapest but you get a good 10 years or more comfortable sleep. JDB

I previously had a Tempurpedic mattress for 7 years that I had loved but for the last year found very uncomfortable do to sinking area where my hips lay. > purchased a new mattress and I love it.! I sure hope it last longer than my previous one do to the cost!

This is the third rendition of the Tempur-Pedic products we have owned and I love this mattress! I am always cold and needed several covers to be warm but this bed keeps me at a moderate sleep temperature and I need fewer covers. My husband has the Cool Breeze as he is a hot sleeper. We are most satisfied with our sleep system now.

My wife and I decided to purchase a new mattress (TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt) and not only I am getting a better night sleep but the lower back pain has completely gone way! I am now back to an active life style, I have lost undesired weight and I have more energy. It's incredible how highly underrated a good mattress is. Do yourself a favor and get a new mattress, your quality of life will improve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the luxeadapt mattress a little over a month ago and I can firmly say it was money well spent. My partner and I have been sleeping on memory foam mattresses for years, and our only hiccup with this type of mattress is how hot it gets. I am a big guy, so sleeping cool for me is of the upmost importance. Before purchasing this bed we were living in Portland, where the temperature is moderately doom and gloom most of the year. This leads to not many hot days. Having said that we would both sometimes still get very hot sleeping on our old memory foam mattresses. Needless to say we were very reluctant to purchase another memory foam mattress when we moved to Tucson. How wrong we were. A month into owning this mattress AND 100 degree + weather daily in Tucson and I can firmly say this mattress keeps us cool night in and night out. The foam itself is amazing as it literally forms to our bodies, and so far there are absolutely no indentations in any part of the mattress. Before sleeping on the luxeadapt I would wake up at least once a night to try and find a cooler, more comfortable spot to sleep. Now, if I do wake up I don't remember it, this really is the best sleep I have ever gotten. These are very expensive mattresses and I am very conservative, borderline cheap when it comes to buying any sort of furniture, but this is some of the best money I have even spent. I gave this review 4 stars only because we have only had the mattress a little over a month, so I can't speak to the longevity of it. But so far, so excellent!
