When it comes to your bed, what lies beneath is much more important that the bedding on top. A good mattress is the foundation to creating the best sleep environment possible. I have to admit, I've never really thought about my mattresses. However now I am a true believer. Who knew a piece of foam would be my salvation? The Tempur Luxe Adapt comes in two different styles: soft or firm. I chose the firm. And while the bed truly is firm, the memory foam or Tempur-Pedics's Tempur Material gives way to adjust to your body. It's like sinking into a cloud. And while the mattress accommodates and conforms to your body, your partner remains undisturbed. It's the bed's motion cancellation in action so they don't feel your movement. This is truly an added bonus especially if your partner tends to shift around a lot at night. Almost immediately, I found I was getting much better sleep and wasn't waking up with a stiff lower back. I can't tell you how I look forward to crawling under the covers every night. The downside? I really miss my bed when I travel. These days, hotel beds just don't seem to measure up.

Bought a Luxe-adapt king mattress in June at an authorized Tempurpedic dealer. I informed the salesperson of my health issues and he suggested that the Luxe-adapt soft would be my best choice. After two months of use, my back became so bad I could barely crawl out of bed. I called Tempurpedic and spoke with a "Sleep Expert" and was told that I never should have bought the soft mattress and I need to return it for a "firm". It's now been a month with the firm mattress and my back has gotten worse. I moved into my guest bedroom with a standard mattress and have no issues with pain. I called the head of customer support and was told that they wouldn't do a thing for me. I was told to have my lawyer contact their legal Department and then he hung up on me. This is a very bad product from an even worse Company.

My husband and I both had such backaches waking up from our old mattress that we could barely walk when we got out of bed. Since getting the Tempurpedic mattress, neither of us suffer from backaches any longer. We sleep more soundly and wake more rested too.

This mattress is perfect--we're getting into "senior" status, and this mattress is wonderfully supportive as well as comfortable. Now more than ever we need a good night's rest, and our new LuxeAdapt Soft gives us that rest. We're delighted with this mattress!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy with our new soft Luxe Adapt split king TempurPedic. I have right hip pain and it hurt to sleep on right side of traditional mattress. Hip pain has been way better with this soft bed. The pain is not totally gone but I sleep through the night now. We splurged on the deluxe adaptable frame with vibration, lights, and zero gravity positions. That too was a great decision. Way better than a frame that just raises and lowers. We are totally happy with the purchase. My husband got the firm mattress on his side. Berry happy for him too following two back surgeries and snoring frequently. Both conditions have greatly improved. We both sleep through the night!!

This mattress was fine the first few months then it started getting softer and softer. After less than two years it is unusable. Getting off the mattress required rocking back and forth with my legs in the air until enough momentum was generated to get my legs over the side. Rolling from one side to the other while on the bed was a joke. I would have to make a slight roll to my stomach then push up and off the mattress with my arms to flip over. It was like sleeping in a trench. As soon as I switched back to my old mattress my si joint pain was gone. Absolutely horrible! The warranty process is a joke. All they want is pictures. Pictures won't show how soft the mattress is, you have to lay on it and feel it. There are many reviews that say the same thing. I should have checked more closely before purchasing the mattress. 4k for junk.

We had enjoyed a tempur pedic for 14 years and were so impressed with the comfort that we talked everyone with whom we visited to take a look at Tempur Pedic! We felt it was worth every penny. We thought it was time to replace the old one and purchased the Luxe Adapt Mattress and Sleeptrack base. It has been a horrible adjustment and we actually are thinking of looking at other mattresses. So sad we invested in the Tempur Pedic. I don't know if we were sold the wrong mattress or if it's been "upgraded". We got a firm, but you sink in so much when you're sleeping that it's difficult to roll over. They made a wonderful mattress I don't know why they changed it.

I'm sleeping through the night! I wake up in the same position with my new Tempurpedic mattress. The Tempur-LuxeAdapt soft mattress just holds me perfectly that I do feel weightless, and drift right away into sleep. It's perfect for me sleeping on my side or back. I've had it for nearly a month & the 30 day breaking-in period has past, just as the salesperson told me it would after coming from the warehouse; It's warmed up & softened. I'm completely more than satisfied. It keeps me cool & I love the 2 Tempurpedic pillows which mold to my head & keep me cool too; a must have! I love my new mattress & pillows, thank you!

First off, we have slept on a tempur-pedic bed for the last 10 years. It has been fantastic. When tempur-pedic reached out to me and wanted me to test out their new mattress I was so thrilled because we have been wanting to upgrade our previous tempur-pedic. We decided on the Luxeadapt version. I am currently pregnant and have been having some issues with my sides and the usual pregnancy aches. The difference that this bed has made in my sleep is extraordinary. I didn't think that it was possible, but most of my aches went away. I am serious. The way that the bed conforms to your body is nothing like our other tempur-pedic bed that we had. I also love that you don't wake the person next to you when you toss and turn, although, you probably won't be doing much tossing and turning with this one. This is hands down the best bed around. I was not paid to give a good review. This is 100% my honest opinion.

My husband and I continually woke up with headaches and backaches with our last pillowtop mattress that was only a few years old. We had NO IDEA that it was from our mattress until we had our first night's sleep on our new TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt! We don't get much sleep due to our schedules but we get great quality sleep in the hours we do get now. We wake up headache and backache free, feeling refreshed instead of groggy. We will not go back to a regular mattress after this one!!
