I was surprised how cleverly designed and thought out this workbench was. It assembles into a highly functional, sturdy and very utilitarian unit. All didn't go smoothly with the assembly, however. Two of the four leg threads for the adjustable feet were not quite cut accurately. One was worse than the other but neither of those two feet could be screwed in without a lot of lubricant, force and a much heavier wrench than provided with the unit. I finally got them all installed only to find out that my wife, who is going to be the user of the workbench, felt that it was too tall with the adjustable feet attached so we wound up removing them. If you are thinking about using this workbench while sitting, you will need a tall stool if you keep the adjustable feet installed.The table top is 36" above the floor without the adjustable feet attached and at least 2 inches or so higher with the feet screwed in as far as they can go. A couple other problems arose as well during assembly with one of the small screws for the shelf not going in completely and we had apparent shipping damage to the piece where the LED light attaches being bent on one corned as well as one end of the back leg brace being misshapen. The latter took some use of a vice and mallet to get it close enough to fit over the leg properly. All in all, we are very pleased with the unit. The wooden top is thick, sturdy and a very pleasant surprise due to its high quality. I'm thinking of buying a second one for myself.

This workbench is a well designed quality product. Assembly was straight forward and easily accomplished. One recommendation I have is to beef up the strength of the pegboard and have better fitting pegboard hardware. The hooks are constantly loose and sometimes fall out of their holes.

This product is completely unusable due to a major design flaw. The construction is extremely wobbly, making even moderate use impossible. The board shakes so much it feels like an earthquake, causing your tools to slide off. It's truly a terrible experience—highly disappointing.

I bought two of these to put side by side. It took awhile to get them both together, but it is not very complicated. They supply tools for you to use if you wish, but you will want to grab your socket set instead if you have some. The only issue I had was that two of the foot posts (on the first one I put together, the second one all four were fine) had their threads messed up, making them impossible to put in without having to resort to forcing them in a little cross-threaded. The butcher block style tops on these are so nice it looks like they would cost the price of these work benches by themselves.

This is a quality product that was a great value. Best price anywhere. Product went together easily, great fit, and nice finish. And the other reviews were correct - it is extremely heavy duty ! If you are looking for a new or replacement workbench this is the one to consider.

I was going to build a workbench as I wanted one with a wood top. Once I saw this bench I figured it had features that I would not have included in mine like the light and drawers. It would have been nice if there were a couple of shelves underneath, but I can add that easily. I was especially pleased with the quality of the instructions. It was close to being idiot proof and went together very easily. They recommended two people, but this 64 year old was able to handle the job easily. I was missing three screws, but was able to assemble it without them maintaining the needed stability. I really should call the help line and get the screws, but haven't taken the time. I was also pleased that some hangers and the drawer liners were included. Overall I am pleased with the quality and it will serve my needs well. Oh, I bought the darker version.

I don't usually do a review on anything, however I have put together many items and have not ever seen a product this well made and packaged..Everything is of very good quality and well packaged. All the instructions follow thru very well and all holes line up and are threaded correctly! Pull out draws are on a heavy duty track that is smooth and even peg board is metal.. There is a lot of screws, i used a power driver and it still took about 1 1/2 hrs to put together..but worth it.. I am very pleased as this work bench has exceeded my expectations.

Great item for a great price. Though it takes about 6 hours to assemble. The assembly details are vague. The illustrations are not that clear. Took some time to figure out how to assemble the drawers and the top piece that holds the led light. Everything fit together very well once you get it right. Great overall quality. I highly recommend this work bench to all who need a sturdy well built bench. Plus the price is very good for what you are getting.

I've been looking for a while and this bench was the best price I've seen with a hard wood top. When I open the box I thought, I could use this in the kitchen. It's that nice. The peg board got my often used tools off the bench so I am a lot more organized. The light is an added plus.

After reading the reviews I ordered this workbench for my son's hobby room. He's into target shooting, fishing, and archery. Ordered one week before Christmas, I expected it to arrive FEDEX before New Years day. It shipped from California and was on our front porch December 23rd! Packaging was first rate: first an internal box with the well partitioned and protected unassembled bench, next another full box surrounded that, and a final exterior box amply protected the contents. It was a pleasure and whiz to assemble in about 2 hours. Talk about a rock solid, quality, well engineered workbench, complete with leveler feet, very ample neon lighting, and an electrical power strip mounted to the aluminum pegboard back. Lined drawers have top-notch ball bearing slides with ample interior space. There is also storage space on a lined shelf above the neon light that runs the full width of the bench. A vise could be easily attached to the solid hardwood work surface and there's room for reloading equipment for those into hand-loading their own ammunition. The 1.5" thick wood work surface is so nice, I'm going to have a sheet of plexiglass cut to size to offer added protection. This product certainly won't disappoint!
