I bought this as a gift for my husband. Though the box was heavy and I had to carry it piece by piece down into the basement, it was very easy to assemble. The directions were easy to follow, all the parts were there, and it even came with the assembly tools. All the pieces were very solid and good quality. The drawers even came with a mesh rubberized lining to prevent things from sliding around. My one complaint is that a piece came with a severe dent it it. I called the 800 number in the instruction booklet and had a new piece on the way to me within two minutes and it arrived in just a few days. I would definitely recommend this product.

The Seville Lighted Hardwood Top Workbench will be a asset to my shop...which is really a guess at the time since I just built it. But....it is solid, heavy, and beautifully designed. I look forward to many years of hard use. Assembly was not difficult, but you might want to be pretty handy before you start. Or get your handy uncle to help. Does not require a second person, but hefting the unit around during assembly would be simpler with a helper. When you complete assembly, you will have one rugged work space that will impress your friends and confound your enemies.

All parts where here, no damage to any of the parts. Here is a tip. The peg board being metal the hooks don't stay in place. I used 6" white plastic wire ties & looped them in the whole on each side of the hooks & just pull them tight . Then cut off the extra in the back of the peg board . The hooks will now stay in place & won't fall off the peg board .

Read the reviews available on this product and generally agree with the published comments. Found some slight cosmetic damage but not significant or warranting it being returned. The assembly was fairly straight forward. Had some difficulty with assembling and installing the drawers. Probably about half of that was on me. The drawers are however worth the effort. Good quality overall and convenient to use. Great for organizing often used tools and storing, out of sight, less used items ( in drawers).

After reading the reviews I ordered this workbench for my son's hobby room. He's into target shooting, fishing, and archery. Ordered one week before Christmas, I expected it to arrive FEDEX before New Years day. It shipped from California and was on our front porch December 23rd! Packaging was first rate: first an internal box with the well partitioned and protected unassembled bench, next another full box surrounded that, and a final exterior box amply protected the contents. It was a pleasure and whiz to assemble in about 2 hours. Talk about a rock solid, quality, well engineered workbench, complete with leveler feet, very ample neon lighting, and an electrical power strip mounted to the aluminum pegboard back. Lined drawers have top-notch ball bearing slides with ample interior space. There is also storage space on a lined shelf above the neon light that runs the full width of the bench. A vise could be easily attached to the solid hardwood work surface and there's room for reloading equipment for those into hand-loading their own ammunition. The 1.5" thick wood work surface is so nice, I'm going to have a sheet of plexiglass cut to size to offer added protection. This product certainly won't disappoint!

I did a review for a Seville Ultra Heavyduty workbench (SAM'S Item #: 588596) which I purchsed in January, 2012 and was EXTREMELY happy with. Based on that experience, I decided to buy this lighted workbench. It took me 2-3 hours to put together. The bench packing, assembly instructions, quality and price are unmatched and unbelievable! Can not find anything negative to say about this company and it's products! Based on my experience, I just ordered their garage stool which I have not received yet. You won't be disappointed buying any of thier products.

I had been looking at this workbench for some time but kept putting off the purchase. I missed an opportunity to buy it at a sale price of $129 a while back - this would have been a steal. Recently I was looking again, reading the impressive reviews by other buyers, and thinking how convenient this bench would be for cleaning my various firearms after a trip to the range. I finally took the plunge and bought it on line. It only cost about twenty bucks to ship it to my house which was more favorable to me that picking up the 120 pound box and bringing it home myself. The box was delivered by FedEx to my garage door in good shape. In opening and checking the contents, I found everything to be in good condition - packaging was impressive as noted by other reviewers. After inventorying, I found all parts and pieces to be included - no missing screws, bolts, etc. Instructions were very clear and assembly was actually fun. An attractive and functional addition to my garage work area. Still an excellent value at Sam's price of $199.

Purchased this workbench black Friday deal, with free shipping. Seen the workbench in store a month earlier and almost bought it then, but wanted to shop around. I had been without a bench in my garage for years and this one is great. Good size, sturdy, nice deep drawers, worklight, pegboard and heavy wood top. Took me a little over 2 hrs to put together. So far no complants and wish I had got 2 at the price.

I was looking for something that didn't have the cheap feeling/looking metal sides and a wood or bamboo top when I found this. I looked into other brands but decided to buy this piece. When you open the box it can be intimidating because their is a ton of parts, screws, etc. Everything was individually labeled with its own sticker and showed you which direction it should be pointed in. This setup even came with its own phillips screw driver and wrench to complete the setup! For the money its very sturdy, and even comes with its own light and power strip! Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this workbench for my husband as a gift and tonight he told me it was probably the best gift I had ever gotten him. It's heavy duty, looks great and the price is perfect. It was easy to put together, I would recommend a power drill and you can do it by yourself but it will go faster if you have two people working together. Love this and so glad I bought it.
