I am amazed at how much I fell in love with this mattress! I actually just purchased a new mattress 3 months ago but decided to temporarily switch them so that I could sample this one out for my review. After just the first night of sleeping on it, I knew that I wasn't ever going to switch the mattresses back again! This Estate Firm Pillowtop is my permanent bed now! I have ankylosing spondylitis, degenerative disc disease and other spine issues that have been causing me a great deal of pain and discomfort. I woke up at least every hour and a half due to the pain, toss and turned all night. I know my original bed had no support so I bought a new mattress designed for side sleepers and to support lower back etc for my specific needs. It was such a relief and huge improvement that I didn't think it could get any better than that. But Stearns & Foster proved me wrong! I slept ALL night long without waking up once! I haven't slept this good in years! The mattress has excellent side support for sitting on the side of it to get dressed etc. My other mattress sank when you tried to sit on the edge. This one is built so sturdy and strong that I can tell it's made to last a very long time! The material of this bed absorbs movement so it has great motion isolation as well. I can't feel it whenever my dog jumps onto my bed or leaves throughout the night. It has the firmness my spine needs for support and alignment with just the right amount of pillowtop for plush comfort! This mattress was made to perfection and I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend this! Thanks again Stearns and Foster for the positively daily relief I now receive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually, I have extra things added to my bedding to make it more comfy, no matter what mattress I had I always had the memory foam toppers, the egg carton-looking topper, or unused blankets just to add more cushion. Not with this mattress. Granted, it took about a month to break it in for it to be comfy, but now it is the best sleep EVER. I sink right into it. The mattress is by no means thin. It is very thick and plush. I highly recommend this brand!!!

I enjoy a firm mattress, so that is what I got and I am completely satisfied. I expected to be a little uncomfortable as I broke the firmness in a bit, but I didn't experience that. From the day it was delivered, it's been like sleeping on a cloud. A very firm cloud. LoL. This mattress has all but eliminated my back and hip pain. I would recommend this mattress to everyone. Seriously. My son and I fight over who wants to sleep on it. LoL. It is worth every penny, I promise.

This is a pretty fantastic mattress, it offers lots of support, you can tell it's very high quality. The mattress I was sleeping on before was only two years old and never offered this type of support, this mattress literally hugs your body and doesn't put extra pressure on your joints. Me and my Beau, both have been sleeping on this mattress and have been sleeping much better and more soundly, my Beau has said his back and legs hurt less since we started using this mattress, it's also much quicker to get comfortable which has resulted in less tossing and turning. I would absolutely buy this product and recommend it to anyone looking for a new mattress, that is not only comfortable but provides support, it's worth every penny. The mattress itself is very luxurious looking, it has a nice blue and a beautiful pattern on the pillow top, you can see how high quality the stitching is and the soft handles make it very easy to move, it is a bit heavy-duty but I think that adds to the fact it's made to last. The firmness gives me the support I need for my back, and the pillow top gives me the softness I need to cushion my shoulders and hips while I sleep on my side.

It's so much more substantial than my old mattress. Definitely high quality. I would recommend to my family and friends!

We have Hurston Luxury Firm. It started feeling like a hammock after the first two months. We rotated it once a month, which didn't help. I waited a year and a half to file a warranty and was denied because the measurement of the gullies was 1.5 on one side and the other side was 1.3. Not only does it feel like sleeping on a hammock, but the foam layer is also compressed so much in the dips we feel like the coils are digging in our backs. It's unacceptable to have that problem with a mattress that's less than two years old. The mattress store we bought it from said give it a little more time, and they're sure we'll have a warranty claim soon. We just ordered another mattress from another company and will never buy another Stearns and Foster!

Our mattress is 7 years old. It has a growing hump in the middle of it. It kept getting better. Someone came out and they will not honor the warranty. Stay away from this dead beat company. It is a lot of money to pay for a mattress and then a warranty is not honored.
