We have only had the mattress a few days but so far, we have enjoyed restful sleep. The "SF Estate Soft" mattress is actually a "firm" mattress but is very comfortable; not too firm and not too soft. We paired it with an adjustable frame and enjoy the ability to choose a slightly inclined position for the head and foot area. I think we made a good choice for ourselves. Stearns and Foster has been in business many decades and if their mattresses were not superior, I don't think they would still be in business.

After 3 back surgeries and continuing back problems for many years, I had accepted waking every morning with back pain. And then I slept on a Stearns and Foster luxe mattress while visiting a family member . For the first time, I awoke with NO back pain. I couldn't believe it! In the end, after talking directly with a company representative, I ordered the higher reserve model, and I'm glad I did. This bed has been exceptional since it arrived. I tried other well known mattresses for years, that required special sheets, and had bulky platforms. None of them even come close to this magnificent bed. The platform is compact, and any deep pocket sheet fits perfectly. Iis expensive, but worth every penny. Given how much of our lives are spent sleeping, it is an investment in your health that is well worth making. I awake refreshed and ready for the day. I Purchased the Stearns and Foster Estate Mattress in Firm when I bought my Bedroom Set and I love this Mattress as I have back problems and this is the best Mattress as the Sales Person at Raymour and Flanagan allowed me to try the mattress in the store and I had to have it so I bought it. It's fantastic.

My mattress was about 6 years old and I was waking up to hip and back pain every day, so I was in the market for a new mattress. This mattress is heavy, and the fabric is soft. At first I was concerned that it would be too firm, as it is much firmer than my old mattress. However, the firmness must be what I needed. This mattress is not too firm at all and provides really good support for my hips and back. I am finding that I am sleeping better, waking up less during the night in pain and waking up in the morning with almost no pain. I would definitely recommend this mattress to those looking for a firm and supportive option.

We owned an S&F king size luxury firm pillow top for 9 years and when my back and knees gave out recently, we decided to purchase the estate king size firm tight top mattress. After just 2 nights of comfortable, excellent support, we feel this is a reliable, well- built mattress and recommend it to anyone with arthritis and/or back problems due to advancing age.

This mattress retains heat like no other mattress I have ever owned. My husband and I both wake up frequently tossing and turning trying to find a cool spot on the bed. It is almost tolerable in winter, but I am dreading warmer weather. I would have given it 1 star but my husband does like the support for his back. I can't wait to get a new mattress and we've had this one less than two years. It is already getting dips and lumps too. Also it is very heavy which makes it difficult to tuck the sheets under.

My body just feels so relaxed no squirming around to find a comfy spot, I lay down and my body just sinks into the mattress .. usually takes me a long time to fall asleep but I'm not even getting through 1 show anymore I'm out like a light. I've always been a hybrid on wanting soft with slight firmness but this is the first time I've experienced a firm mattress and I never want to go back. Well worth the wait.

My first stearns and foster mattress. I have had for about 2 weeks. My boyfriend prefers firm, I prefer more plush feel. We settled on the estate medium. So far we are both very happy with this purchase. Very comfortable and have been sleeping very well. Look forward to many years of comfort.

I am amazed at how much I fell in love with this mattress! I actually just purchased a new mattress 3 months ago but decided to temporarily switch them so that I could sample this one out for my review. After just the first night of sleeping on it, I knew that I wasn't ever going to switch the mattresses back again! This Estate Firm Pillowtop is my permanent bed now! I have ankylosing spondylitis, degenerative disc disease and other spine issues that have been causing me a great deal of pain and discomfort. I woke up at least every hour and a half due to the pain, toss and turned all night. I know my original bed had no support so I bought a new mattress designed for side sleepers and to support lower back etc for my specific needs. It was such a relief and huge improvement that I didn't think it could get any better than that. But Stearns & Foster proved me wrong! I slept ALL night long without waking up once! I haven't slept this good in years! The mattress has excellent side support for sitting on the side of it to get dressed etc. My other mattress sank when you tried to sit on the edge. This one is built so sturdy and strong that I can tell it's made to last a very long time! The material of this bed absorbs movement so it has great motion isolation as well. I can't feel it whenever my dog jumps onto my bed or leaves throughout the night. It has the firmness my spine needs for support and alignment with just the right amount of pillowtop for plush comfort! This mattress was made to perfection and I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend this! Thanks again Stearns and Foster for the positively daily relief I now receive!
