Overland tire

First off, overall this is a considerably good tire. The first thing that stands out about this tire is it's wear life. The set I have on my 2003 Toyota Tacoma, I have had for about 7 thousand miles and they look close to brand new. The last set that I had last 60 thousand with good tire rotation and matenance. Great tire wear even for an all terrains. The second thing I'd like to address is the gas mileage. My gas mileage didn't drop horrible when I installed these tires. Part of the mileage loss was was because I climbed from a 265 to a 33. But since It is an all terrain it saved me some mileage for sure. Overall mileage loss was minimal. Next topic of discussion is performance, by far one of the most important things about a tires. These tires have been great in almost ever application I have put them in. The only situations it some what lacked in was deep northwest mud and sand. Not that they were expected to our perform a mud terrain of course, but they became relitively slick if the mud was not slung out of them and with the sand being very course. In the snow and ice as well as the road driving, the tire performed very well with out much error. I believe this is a well designed tire that I would recommend to anyone looking for this type of package

Worth the Investment!

Bought these tires 4 years ago. Put 70,000 miles on these things. The tread outlived the rubber, only had to replace them now because I live in a stupid hot climate and found some signs of dry rot on them. I had them rotated every 3,000 miles and they did not disappoint. Held up great in rain and through mud. Quiet on the highway. Overall- worth it enough I just put a new set on today!

As always, an awesome tire

I ran the old version KO's on multiple jeeps and put these on my '18 JLU when I picked it up new from the dealer. I now need to replace them, 3yrs later and slightly over 49,000 miles on the tires. I live in Pittsburgh so I'm always driving on pitched roads, going around bends, up and down hills, and on the highway. They've seen long road trips to SW Florida, Michigan, and Philly and they are quiet yet responsive tires. I will say that if you're not rotating tires when you do oil changes then nothing is ever going to last to manufactures stated mileage claims, unless you live in a relatively flat open road state. Inspection is due in July and I'm below state minimums for tread depth so heading out to get a replacement set this weekend. IMO these tires look and perform as advertised!

Don't buy if you are towing

Bought these less than a year ago and the rear tires are worn considerably more than the front I only have about 10K on them now. Noticed considerable wear around 6K. I mainly use this truck for towing my camper. I'm not heavy on the gas so it's not from spinning the tires. Looking to go to some Cooper's Don't buy if you are towing.

BFG All-Terrain T/A K02 ......perfect

We have been using the 35x12.50x17 K02's for a little over a year now, and have managed to put about 25,000 miles on them, from towing, daily driving, and trail driving on a 2007 2500 Diesel Ram. I am amazed at how well the tires have held up, the wear is minimal, I honestly thing we'll get 60-75,000 out of them. BFG nailed it on this one. Trust me when I say last set of tires you will buy for a long while, and when you do go to buy a new set it will be the same ones, at least it will be for me.

Tread wear

I have 25000 mile on these tires and they are worn out. For the money I payed for a set of these tires You would expect a little more mileage out of the. I have purchased these tires before and had good luck with them but not this set. I'm looking at trying a different brand this time. They say 50000 mile warranty but dont expect getting that.

31/10.5 R15

I bought these tires less then a year ago and I dont like them. They collect every single nail on the road. The tread life is a joke 15/32 and now I'm at 6/32 hasn't been a year yet and I dont drive very far, I always wanted to leave mi and explore but no way I'm doing that with these tires I'll probably run out of tread before I hit Colorado..

One Year Tires

I have a 2014 Ford Raptor. The original BFGoodrigch tires were awesome and lasted four years. Last year I replaced them with the TA KO2, and they only lasted one year. The tread is almost gone. I would not recommend these tires for a Ford Raptor.

EXCELLENT HANDLING

First set of BFG A/T KO2, actually first set of BFG's. Replaced a set of good years on a 2000 F-150 4x4. These KO2 have far excelled any tire ever owned on any vehicle, and I have had many vehicles over the years. Use mainly on highway and deep beach sand. These tires are quiet and extremely surefooted on pavement even in rain and at speed. Cannot wait to see how well they are in the ice and snow. The tires may be a little aggressive for the sand, I deflate to 16psi for the deep sand and the truck does not bog down at all. When I punch the gas they dig in and toss a good amount of sand out. Extremely pleased with purchase, these tires are definitely worth the $ investment $.

I really don't understand why so many dislike them

Bought them last fall for my overlanding rig, ran them hard for over a year now & put ~20,000 miles on them. I will likely re-buy another set in 285/70R17 (C-rated) once tread runs out on the current set. Overall very happy and confused why a lot of people in the community keep thrashing this tire ... the below is fully based on my own experiences, I do not claim to be an off-road expert nor did I have a lot of comparisons with other truck tires. I paid for my tires. PROs: + Ability off-road ... I have been throwing rock gardens/shelves, deep sand, muddy forest roads, desert roads, deep snow at these tires and never had any traction issues off-road. If other tires are even better I haven't been in a situation (yet) where that would've mattered ... the areas where I feel they excelled at (even vs. other off-roaders I met on the trails) were: (1) deep snow and (2) deep sand - others got stuck and we didn't + Quiet on the highway, light, didn't affect fuel consumption much (~1 mpg) when I switched from the stock tires in 255/75R16 to 265/70R17 KOs (they are the lightest tire in this class ... which is noticeable in terms of performance, breaking, MPGs) + Even wear & durable: 20,000 miles, rotation every 5,000 miles, balancing after 15,000 miles - still enough tread for another 20-30k + Looks: Subjective but I like them over a lot of other A/T tires CONs: - Tendency to hydroplane in wet conditions - scary, but manageable - Traction on packed snow or ice is not great - didn't run into these conditions off-road but on regular streets in the winter I got into some sketchy situations - They wander a bit when changing lanes at higher speeds (>75mph) ... but that's to be expected when getting C-rated tire on a ~6,000lbs rig (fully loaded) Some other thoughts: > C-rated over E-rated tire all day ... been pushing them aired down on sharp rocks and haven't had any flats or cracks in the tire > the weight does matter ... especially on our somewhat underpowered Tacomas (even with re-gear) ... it's nice to have a bit of extra punch vs. some other A/T tires that are 20% heavier > In dry / sandy states these tires are really hard to beat. In some rainier / wetter states like Washington there are other tires that perform better in wet conditions ... but so far not enough to change my mind ;)
