From the moment they were installed, the ride quality was noticeably smoother and quieter than anything I've run before. Highway driving is exceptionally stable and comfortable, even on long trips, and road noise is minimal. Wet traction is excellent and they inspire confidence in changing conditions. Steering feels solid and predictable, and the overall ride has a very “OEM-plus” feel — refined, controlled, and comfortable. These tires truly shine for highway miles and daily driving. My 2004 F150 is on its 2nd set. The first set went over 100,000 and my 2nd set has 75,000 and still has good life left. The Michelins are the only replacement tires that balanced out smooth and road very quiet. The long wear is a great bonus! Purchased 2015.

Have bought several sets of Michelin Defenders over the years and never been disappointed. Good mileage and the most impressive thing is they don't develop road noise from uneven wear like many others do. The ride is nice and the grip is good for year round driving and stopping. I do rotate regularly and check tire pressure often and that will make a difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these Michelin Defender LTX M/s2 tires to go our family's 2019 Toyota Sequoia. We were running on a different brand of tires but will have to admit that these tires give us quite a comfortable ride! They don't look quite as rugged as ones we've had but if these will last as long as they're rated for them I'll be more than happy.

I regret purchasing these tires. Their ride is too hard and noisy. There is excess molding process flaps of rubber on two tires which should have been trimmed off at the factory. The Latitude Touring HP is a much better choice for a 2018 Lexus GX 460. I fell ill and didn't have the opportunity to ask for other tires within the Michelin allotted time period.

I own a Chevrolet Suburban LT and this tires fit them perfectly, I can feel the difference while I'm driving if how these tires work on any terrain, specially on rainy days. The material is thick and the tires look powerful. I recommend them if you have a large truck!

I have been a fan of Michelin LTX tires for my light trucks for many years. The problem is with your rebate process. The on-line process is so cumbersome and riddled with technical roadblocks that many people without high level computer skills will simply NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS! Are you kidding me, how many people actually have a FAX machine at home!

I have purchased 6 sets of Michelin LTX MS tires, the last 3 sets are the newer Defender LTX MS2 version. I have no complaints with ride quality or performance, but the new versions have no had the same tread wear longevity, and the last 2 sets are much louder than they used to be. I first noticed it 6 months ago replacing a different brand with Michelins on an FJ Cruiser, but confirmed when replacing older MS2s with new ones today. Tire noise appeared instantly after install. Frequency and volume both become obvious approaching 50mph and after. Very disappointing change from what were the best tires I've ever had in 50 years. Not sure I can live with these.
