These were installed on my back porch which is shaded by a couple of trees. I had the foam inserts and generally grew maple trees in them. This design looks very promising (ask me in a year), and it went on very easily. I look forward to not growing any more trees in my gutter.

After much research i found this design will work best overall, no design is perfect without drawbacks. Stainless design should last a long time. The self tapping screws worked great in the pre-indented lines within the frame, making it easy to tap and screw on. They provide the bit for your drill also worked great! Did not use tape as i may want to remove them incase they are damaged by ice or fallen trees. ONE THING i learned is the roofers extended the bottom row of shingles too far, so i may get a little overspill in heavy rain, but that is not the fault of the gutter guard. Having them on so far they are working just fine. I do have some pine straw that fell that will need to be brushed off once per year, BUT THAT SURE BEATS CLEANING THEM OUT 2 X YEAR. I am physically unable to do the work now so i paid friend to install and clean them out. Would recommend this model as they do work as intended. The instructions and videos were satisfactory for my friend to install, as neither of us had prior experience with installing gutter guards.

Just finished installing my gutterguards. We had the roof redone a few years ago so we had two layers of shingles. Just slid the guards in between the first and second layer. Takes a while to learn the best technique, but then installation was a breeze. I screwed mine down, should stay forever. They are built very well, and being aluminum and stainless steel, should last forever. Screws and driver bit were even included in box.

Purchased these after quote from "that" company that advertises on TV, newspapers and periodicals. The cost of their installation for their product was through the roof. I installed these in no time flat. The only drawback is cutting these. I began using tin snips and eventually hurt my wrist because of the difficulty getting through the front and rear metal. Reverted to a hack saw to get through the front and trailing edges. The mesh cuts like butter using tin snips. I chose not to use the self adhesive tape just in case I wanted or needed to remove a panel. Mitering the corners was a bit of a challenge due to my metal roof nad roofing caps. All in all I would definetly recommend these gutter guards. I hope they hold up because I just completed installation a week ago. I don't see why they wouldn't hold up (to hurricanes as well) because they're well made. Best part about this is I will no longer have to clean out my gutters and you cannot see them from the ground. Was having Leaf Filter installed on my home. Checked their work and they were shortcutting on the installation. I cancelled their installation and went online and purchased GutterGlove, silicon sealant for gutters and was even able to buy the hidden gutter supports. Spent about $1,000 in material and I couldn't be happier with the GutterGlove product.

Installed gutter glove guard 1 month ago in Michigan first snow they iced up and when the snow started to melt the gutter guard wouldn’t let the water in the gutter then froze after it went over the edge of the gutter and made an ice dam and ice cycles dripping off the gutter 2 snow did the same not made for winter weather removed and returned

Installed 80 feet of this product yesterday. I agree with MikeBinAR, the comprehensive review below. Will add a tool belt works much better than shuffling your tools down the gutter. I read several product reviews on line before selecting this product. I could only find this product for retail purchase at Samsclub.

Bought this great quality Stainless mesh with ample amount of permanent sheet screws that work great also . Directions well made out and warranty cards . Only one time product after installing easily. Took me 6 hours 120 feet cleaning and applying. Corners and Heavy duty snips and a drill with the included screw bit for easy screwing . Awesome !

We installed the Gutter Guards on half our gutters. The next heavy rain we checked and were disappointed to see all the gutters with the Gutter Guard were dripping water over the front edge. Not running water from the roof, but big droplets running from the front edge of the gutter down and around to the bottom and dropping down all along the underside.The gutters without the Gutter Guard were not dripping water. They look like they will keep leaves and other debris out, but the water traveling across the Gutter Guards to drip makes entering and exiting our home unpleasant and wet. Additionally, the reason for the gutters is to eliminate water against our basement walls by channeling away from the house at the downspouts. We had to buy longer self tapping screws to install these Gutter Guards. The ones that were supplied with this kit were too short to go through the guard and our gutter. Only one or two threads actually grab the metal and if you tighten the screw with an electric driver for a half second too long, they just strip out.

Good product that is easy to install. I've used the other gutter guards with larger openings and pine needles, certain types of oak and elm leaves just seemed to stay stuck in them year round. Skeptical at first, after installing a short section I tested them out using a water hose to see how well the water ran into them. Most of the water just ran off instead of going into the gutters! Then I read that the screen must be wet before they would allow water to penetrate the screen. Alas, they work awesome. I installed the remaining 300 ft. and have had two rains since. They work great and leaves will just roll off in the rain or blow off in the wind. No more gutters to clean! The only complaint I have was the packaging technique they use. Most of the ends of each section were bent during shi*ping which added significant time in having to straighten out each end with a pair of pliers. A small piece of foam rubber included in each end of the box most likely would have prevented this. For that, I can only give 4 stars.
