Poor quality light weight teak. Screws rusted after only 2 years, and furniture was covered in the winter months. The love seat arm just broke off. Very disappointed in this set

I contemplated buying this set last summer but the high shipping costs prevented me from doing so. Thank you Sams for lowering shipping costs to $99. This set arrived in a timely manner and all cushions were well wrapped. Assembly was quite easy, my daughter and I did it. Set looks great on my deck; I will put 2 coats of teak sealer on it. In my opinion, sealer works better than oil. I have used both and over time the oiled furniture has developed dirt and mildew. Since everything teak is so expensive, I would say this is outstanding value for your money and would highly recommend it to a friend

My husband and I bought this set to put in our balcony and it looks beautiful and is super comfortable! I am actually writing this review to see if anyone who has purchased this can recommend a good cover for it. Although the website says that the cushions are weatherproof, I would like to keep them in "as new" condition as possible. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

The quality and design of this set is great. It looks very elegant. I do recommend scotchguarding the fabric because of the light color. The only drawback is you will need at least 2 coats of teakwood oil as the wood really soaks it up. I went thru 4 cans.

Love it! Before we put it together we put teak oil on. Took a day to dry. So, within 2 days, we had the set sitting under the patio ready for my husbands birthday party. Very comfortable, and very beautiful! Would like to get a matching dining table soon. Everyone loved the set.

I was skeptical given the price, but figured Sams would not carry something that wasn't fit for purpose. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Fantastic. Boxes came within about 5 days, all shrink-wrapped. Hauled it to my lake house and assembled. Very stright forward. Solid construction. Bolts, etc. were all there, even spares. No problems what so ever. As other reviewers wrote, the cushions had some marks, because the plastic wrapping was torn. But no big deal. Best value purchase i think i've ever made. I used teak oil on the parts before assembling....looks great. furniture is on our screen porch. Friends can't believe how inexpensive. I searched everywhere...in stores and on line. Maybe better quality at Smith and Hawkens or similar high-end stores....but their stuff is only marginally better, and given the stupid prices they want....NO where near the value of this furniture.

I just bought my first home in January and it's a very special one filled with antique limestone and bricks! With that being said, the garden is also unbelievable...fish pond/fountain and all. Naturally I wanted a gorgeous outdoor set to match the rest of the quality in and around my home. When this set arrived I coudn't have been more exctied! It's also nice to finally find an outdoor set that doesn't have unattractive print all over the fabric. What stunning teak wood. I did oil it like everyone else recommended and I'm glad I did! The wood right out of the box was so soft and luxuroius. This set is a steal!! Way to go Sam's Club. My only complaint would be the quality of fabric on the cushions. It's not the best. Love the cushion color but I know it will soil pretty quickly so a nice coat of Scotch Gaurd might do wonders. You will NOT regret purchasing this set.

Ok, so just received this today and my first impressions are wow! Easy to assemble, Furniture feels very sturdy. Finish looked good and Cushions are very comfortable. I've seen comments about the cushion covers being difficult, I found them easy to place on thecushions.

I purchased this and the table w/chairs in 2005/2006 ish. My set did not include the coffee table or loveseat. I am actually shopping for replacement cushions (the material is amazing but squirrels got to the back cushions. (If anyone knows how to find replacement cushions i would love to know) As for quality this is without a doubt a one time purchase. I have left them out through all seasons (cushions included...eek i know) and the furniture is sturdy as heck. I have powersprayed off the oxidation probably 10 times and it returns to near new. I do suggest sealing it after you purchase...my one regret. I will likely purchase another set for a seating area in my back yard! Hope this helps someone make a decision.
