We've used lower rated Filtrete filters that work well. I bought the Ultra because the others were out of stock. If you buy any Filtrete filters, I recommend changing them before your system shuts down from lack of air flow. They are that good!

These filters are the best I have used. They get pet hair, dirt and dust although I have cats and dogs so I actually change my filter every month but it does cut down the dusting

It is a good filter, but I’ve been told now by three different air-conditioning companies that they are too hard on your air condition unit and it makes them work too hard and to go to a lower grade.
