We normally buy the same kind of product at "another" store (rhymes with Bostco). Our family didn't think they have the seasoning quite right on this product and will go back to buying the other one. It was good with some "tweaks" we made to it, don't get me wrong. But, at this price, we don't want just an ingredient in our own recipe... it needs to have the convenience factor for the price and this required flavor "fixing" so we could enjoy it.

We were hosting family for New Year’s Day so i purchased 3 packs of this pulled pork. I will NEVER purchase this again. There were several large chunks of gristle and there was also two large pork shoulder nerves. Which was very off putting. The overall taste of the pork was not that great. Lacking in flavor. I also picked up two packs of the smoked pulled chicken. It was fantastic. That I will get again. I was rather embarrassed service pulled pork. Unfortunately I did not take pictures. I didn’t want to make a scene in front of our guests.

I didn't like this at all. I'm not a picky eater, and can generally eat a plate of food that i don't care for. I ate this for lunch a couple of times, and ended up throwing the rest in the trash (totally unlike me). The flavor just was not good, and the texture was a bit off too. I don't know, I can't pinpoint it, but I won't puchase again. I encourage you to still try it, but it just wasn't for me.

I bought this for a work function thinking it would be easy to hear up. I was worried if might be fatty, but it was perfect. I heated it in the microwave and everyone loved it. The flavor was good with our without BBQ sauce. This was definitely a good buy for the price.

Members Mark Pulled Pork has a wonderful taste. In the past it contained the meat in two packets, splitting the portions. You were able to use one and keep the other one frozen. My family is small, where one packet is good for one serving. When I purchased it this time, all the meat was in one packet. I froze it when I purchased it for future use. Since I was unable to refreeze after opening it, half was wasted.

We love pulled pork for tacos or bbq sandwiches— but this one was not my favorite. It was tough, had a few large pieces of gristle, and did not easily flake apart when heated like when I make it homemade. I put it in a crock with some broth for a couple hours which helped the texture immensely and gave me hope. However, I still didn’t care for the taste. It had a hint of smokiness that was good, but the overall taste was off. Daughter thought it wasn’t as good as homemade, but was okay. We each ate a taco and hubby had a sandwich; even though something about the meat tasted off, no one got sick. Even so, I threw the rest of it away. Won’t buy again.

Very disappointing! With the high prices at any bbq restaurant nowadays, I thought I was getting a good deal for the price. Meat was not pull apart, had to use a knife to chop it up. There was a lot of fat and gristle. I doctored it up with bbq sauce and spices. Made it somewhat edible. Did not want have to throw it out.

Delicious! It is pure meat. It tastes like I have cooked it all day. It is such a time saver for company. It is our favorite go to meal.We buy the already shredded cabbage and some slaw dressing and we're ready to eat in 15 minutes. I have been disappointed in the past but It's not full of sauce only like a lot of brands. We now have some on hand always. It freezes well in smaller packages and all you need is the buns for as many people as you have.

The box I received had a lot of fat. At least a half pound. It also was not "pulled". There were big chunks that appeared sliced. If it was pulled there would have been much less fat because it would have been easier to see. I will not buy this product again. Also the smoked flavor was a little strange. It doesn't tell what kind of wood was used. I think that is important, because different woods created different flavors.

I Highly recommend, if you can cook it in a pot or Microwave, as it comes in a very dense block. It is hard to portion it without cooking it all at once, but the flavor is very good and has some visible smoke ring albeit a small shallow one. Is worth about $5- $6 a pound, no more.
