It's a nice bottle at a good price, but the hinge WILL fail, it's just a matter of time. Well, not the whole hinge, but the o ring that pops the hinge open will fail. It can be replaced by you (Zulu is NO help), but over time the metal pin will degrade the plastic, I'm sure.

I ordered 2 sets of the Zulu 26oz stainless Insulated Water Bottles 2-packs. Being these water bottles were bought to be used in the parks all day the main sales pitch was the “New Germ Guardian” feature on the drinking surface…But I didn't receive the new update bottles with the germ guardian, I instead received what I believe to be the older version of the bottles. Customer service sent me replacements for both sets trying to receive the actual products that I believed I was purchasing in the first place with the germ guardian but the new replacements are the same older version bottles without it again! So even though I'm disappointed because of the lack of actually getting what I've ordered and the false advertising, the water bottles do hold ice for the stated 24hrs and they are very good quality, just not as updated as the updated ones! It would have been great if what was advertised was what I got -just feels like a bait and switch to push out the older inventory:(

We really like these bottles. We've actually bought three sets of them. HOWEVER, the lids are a problem. Three times they have broken. One just failed and the other two broke when dropped about 2 feet out of the fridge door onto laminate floor. The bottles themselves are really sturdy and stay cold. The lids not so much.

These lids have a reputation for breaking and Zulu has non-existant customer service despite their lifetime warranty. They don't respond to their customer service email or the warranty form. Sam's Club came through with their great refund or replacement policy but I'd steer clear of these.

This is my favorite water bottle, we use them all the time. I love being able to fill it with ice water and still have it ice cold when I get done with work and need a refreshing drink. It's perfect for hiking in the heat as well because it keeps your drink cold for a long time! The rubber band that snaps opens the lid did break but it's still easily used, I just hold it open with my finger. Love these water bottles!

I do like these bottles. The size is great and the handle is easy to use to carry. The only issue is sometimes the button to push to flip the lid open gets stuck and/or hard to press. I drink a lot of water so this bigger size is ideal for me. However, if that isn’t you, you might want to consider something smaller. Once full of water and ice it can be heavy. That isn’t a problem for me but something to consider. I would recommend.

Nice size, keeps everything hot or could. this is my second set and I have not lost the first set yet. One of my favorite things is all you have to do (if not sharing with others) is wipe down the mouth piece and there is never odor on it! I wear lipstick all the time and it is easy to drink out of and I just wipe away the lipstick. I did put the cap in the dishwasher once - to me it tasted like dish soap I kept rubbing it down with lemon juice - it finally went away...I now use one for coffee and 1 for water. I even travel with it so I do not have to drink out of bottles that sweat...

I've purchased a total of 4 of these since the beginning of the year, one for each member of my family, because we absolutely LOVE these! HOWEVER, three of the lids have broken, the culprit being the little rubber O ring that causes the lid to flip. After less than a year, needless to say, I'm severely disappointed. LOVE the product, but can't use them anymore.

This is by far the best stainless steel water bottle I’ve ever purchased! The locking flip top lid and soft drinking split are my favorite things about it. Mine have gotten a ton of use and everything is in good working order. I recommend these to all my friends and keep extras in case I lose one.

This bottle holds temperatures well as it keeps drinking water cool for many hours. The cap is really convenient with its slide bottom to change opening from drinking to wide opening for refilling. The cap also allows a carabiner to be used to carry on outside of backpack or bag. Will repurchase again if needed.
