Was looks for a less expensive, in store version of peoples choice old fashion jerky, which is a dry (not moist) jerky, more salt cured than sugar cured. This one is certainly dry but in the hard way not crisp way. Not bad, flavor is okay/fine. Would bug it again in a pinch but not regularly

This brand was great when I first bought it a year or two ago. The pieces were sliced thin and therefore unlike the mass majority of other jerkies out there. But the last two packs I purchased in the last six months were disappointing because the jerky was thick just like every other jerky. And the freshness was not there either - it was quite tough and hard.

I’ve been looking for this type of beef jerky… dry, thin sliced, and peppered. Now, I do not have to make a long drive to Green Spot Market (a small market at the bottom of the mountain near Big Bear, Ca. They had one of the best beef jerky around. I also tried Settlers Beef Jerky to compare. Their Cowboy Jerky is the closest to it. But Enjoy Premium Beef Jerky is my go to because it’s a little cheaper per pound and easy access…… I love it!

Terrible, terrible, terrible, jerky. The jerky was thinly sliced, VERY DRY and TOUGH. It was as though someone tried unsuccessably making their own jerky in an oven and blew the entire process. Save your money and buy another brand of truly quality jerky. P.S. I've written the company to express my displeasure of their product.

I live this jerky! It could probably be less tough, but you don't get with most jerkys these days, for me it's a super positive. I love that I have to chew it instead of sinking my teeth into a soft piece of meat. This is my favorite brand right now!!
