I love the taste of these apples. The texture isn't mealy, it's juicy, and has a sweet but slightly tart flavor. I eat them plain, and with peanut butter or pimento cheese (Pawmetto Cheese), or sometimes dipped in chocolate hummus. These pair well with so many things. They bake well also.

I bought these because they sounded delicious and perfect even though they are more expensive. Well, they were out of this world all right, out of this world lousy. After 2 bites, they had a bitter taste and a weird texture. I spit them out both times I tried them. I would never get them again!

I usually eat Envy apples from Sam’s but the last 3 bags we purchased were all bad. The apple were definitely beyond their sell by date regardless of what the actual date was. They were mushy and had a bad taste. I bought the Cosmic crisp apples and they were pretty good but not as good as Envy. The Cosmics are sweet and crisp but are more acidic than Envy. Envy seems to have just the right balance of sweetness and acid. The Cosmics are a good substitute if the Envy apples are unavailable.

I never liked buying apples in a bag. I took my chances getting these cosmic apples from Sam's because in my experience that are always crispy and sweet. These bag of apples did not disappoint! They were sweet and crispy like I've known them to be. I will definitely be purchasing the cosmic apples from Sam's Club. 👍🏼👍🏼

These are awful. I always bought a bag of the Honey Crisp every time I visit my Club but this time they were not available and this seemed to be the substitute. These were bruised and mealy. Even though I closely examined the bag, one was rotting and covered with brown spots (covered by the printing on the bag). I hope this is not going to be a permanent change. So many Club products have been ruined by the move to Makers Mark, stuffed olives, salsa and others.

Our favorite apple normally but this last bag must have had some age on them. One apple went bad the next day and the rest were on the way out so I had to cook them. Still had a great flavor just not the freshest. I will buy Cosmic Crisp apples again but I will try the check the freshness better.

Buy a different kind of apple!!! I was excited to try something new for a recipe I was making. I assembled the recipe, put into the oven then cut up the one apple left to eat. I took a bite and immediately spit it out. It's juicy, crispy, but BITTER. I am praying that the sugar and brown sugar in the recipe balances out the bitterness. I sure won't be buying these again.

We usually get Fuji apples but only had organic and the last time we got the organic they had no flavor. Tried these and should have checked closer as 5 of them were very bruised and mushy. Tried one and they were nice and crisp but had a bitter taste. Hope the regular Fuji return.

These have NOT been up to the same caliber as they were last year. The apples are mealy and not as tasty. Was hoping the first bag purchased this 'season' was a fluke because we enjoyed them so much last year. Second bag purchased with same results.

These are may favorite type of apple. Consistently quite large, very crisp and sweet. However, the bag I bought at Sam's that were smaller, not as crisp and had an oily coating that was hard to wash off. I found MUCH better Cosmic Crisp apples at other nearby supermarket for a lower price.
