I Was shocked by the chemical smell that did not disapate for several days! Call Sams was told possible a spray to retain freshness! Googled spray may be a pesticide as well!.Will not buy again..threw them out. Chemical smell of gasoline, petroleum like!

We usually buy a 5 lb bag of Honey Crisp apples. Since they weren't available, we tried these "Cosmic Crisp" apples, which we had never seen or heard of. Honey Crisp are better--Honey Crisps are larger, they come in a 5 lb bag (Cosmic Crisp is a 4 lb bag), and the Honey Crisps last in the fridge WAY LONGER than the Cosmic Crisps. The taste is good, but they need to keep better than they do. We will not be buying these again.

I like these, hub didn't care much for them.. these are not my favorite apples overall but, they are not bad, especially with peanut butter.. what i really like about these cosmo apples is how long they stay fresh looking after sliced...days!! Since they don't brown quickly like many apples, you can slice them up ahead of time and keep them in container in fridge and grab a slice or two throughout the day. I sliced 3 of them and on third day they were still good and not browned.. good prep food apple.

Checked bag as well as possible in the club. Got home & one was clearly rotten from the center(stem area was brown & mushy, could see through t bag). Next day went to grab one out of the fridge….thumb went through the side as it had a big rotten spot. Went over all well, more than half had bad spots.
