I tried to cancel this order when I found out it would not arrive on date promised. It came anyway. I then had to go to the hassle of returning it. My refund was $7 less because then I had to pay freight. That is enough of Sam's Club for me. Adios.

The boxes were very good, but I was at Walmart and I could’ve gotten them for five dollars cheaper. I can’t believe that actually Walmart was cheaper than Sam’s Club.

No where on the box does it state 5 lids, 5 boxes. Annoying. SAM'S description doesn't dispel the misunderstanding of only 5 boxes instead of 10, either. Waste of my time. Now I need to return and order something else.

These boxes function, but they aren't heavy duty. They are difficult to assemble and the lids are borderline garbage. Nothing lines up well, from the handles on the boxes to the locking flaps on the lids to the pre-scored folds.

The boxes I received were definitely not heavy duty or even medium duty. I have purchased many heavy duty banker boxes in the past and these are not heavy duty and are the same light duty quality you can purchase at the walmart store. If you want heavy or medium duty don't buy these!

I bought 10 cases of these from Sams Club online and they were all as shown. Then I bought 1 more case a month later and they are the same box except standard cardboard brown. I called Sams Club to tell them of the issue and they kindly sent me a replacement free of charge and did not even request the incorrect boxes back! BUT - The Replacement is ALSO brown. Investigation of the box revealed that the fault is with the Manufacturer (Bankers Box) who put the exact same Model number / SKU / Bar code / etc. on the box! (BTW, it's not just the color, the number written on the box is also different ("12783" - suspiciously close to "783"). The boxes themselves are fantastic - much sturdier cardboard than on the cheaper boxes by the same company, and the quick-open assembly is also good. Also the tops are larger and better reinforced, so stacking isn't a problem, even when filled with books. Only issue I have is that side walls are are not doubled like the ends and bottom so if there is any damage to them (you trip over them, bend them slightly) they aren't as strong as they could be. Overall though, assuming you get the White ones (if you care) they work very well. Heavy duty, though not SUPER heavy duty due to the single side-walls.

Each time I get some boxes from Sam's from this manufacturer - they hold up just like they say they will in the preview information. I know it may seem weird to purchase boxes when there are so many in a variety of places these days but I love that I can stack them uniformly, and one is not going to collapse under another. I don't get them for now - I get them for the long-term.

First I will say the boxes seem to be sturdy, however, only time will tell! You will not receive "white" boxes as shown in the pictures for this product. I received "Brown" boxes as many other people stated. I suspect that the boxes are less expensive here due to the fact that they are defective, although in way that will effect their function. You will have to see this to understand, the lids tabs you fold over have cut outs for the handles that have no function. The actual tabs cut out for the handles are lower on the sides (ends) of the boxes. This was probably a manufacturing screw up and they picked up the boxes at a much lower cost, passing a little savings onto the customer and keeping a much higher profit margin for themselves. Last issue. I have purchased "Bankers Box" brand before over the years. I still have a few of the older Banker Box white one's. These "Banker Box" brown one's will easily fit inside the old "Banker Box" white one's? So, these boxes are smaller and hold less files or things than the old boxes. Are these really "Banker Box" brand/made boxes? Who knows? Hope that helps! -Larry

These are the BEST overall boxes for just about any storage need. These boxes are SUPER STRONG (with a 650-pound weight capacity), easily lock closed for security purposes, & an exceptionally low price for a wide range of potential projects. They are easy to break down & reuse multiple times, and an excellent choice to keep in on hand for future use.

I have bought these and originally was going to use for sorting all of my different paperwork. However, one day I had to pack up my son's old size 2 clothes because he moved into a size 3 and they were intermixed together. I didn't want to use a garbage bag because in an attic it doesn't look attractive even if the only thing that might see it is a random bat (where I live no matter how tight you seal it up they still get in lol). So, I grabbed 2 of these boxes and now I have been using these to sort and organize all of the kids clothes they grow out of. It makes it so much easier when I have a friend or family member looking for clothes for their little one during these tough pandemic times. We all have been passing around clothing and it has been so helpful having them stored in these boxes because they are also easier to transport! I think I have gotten the rest of them addicted to because I find my clothes requested have been given to me in boxes like these.
