It helps maintain a healthy balance and makes a great supplement when used daily. I love the milk chocolate the best. It really makes a difference to my health. Our doctor recommended Ensure as a supplement and we've been hooked every since. We stopped drinking coffee and replaced it with Ensure. Its like drinking a chocolate milk shake. just had hand/elbow surgery. I was without an appetite for 5 days. I lived on Ensure, 18 to be exact. Kept me balanced, full and my digestive system going. In my normal everyday life, I am a very active healthy dog trainer. I also run dog agility. You will always find an Ensure in my car, training bag or kennel. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this and it's much needed. I have diverticulious and IBS D so I can't eat much . But I drink this 4 bottles a day to get my nutrition. I also like butter pecan and chocolate. Food gives me bad stomach pains. Ensure doesn't give. Me stomach pains my Dr says I need to drink more but I can't afford it . Thank you I just wish I could get some donated to me . I can't afford enough to fill me up.

I have tried most of the flavors and find that vanilla suits me best. The chocolate(s) are also in my refrigerator for variety and my husband takes one of those now and then. Overall I can say that Ensure surely starts my day on the right key.

The problem I have and am sure others do also is the vitamin K . A lot of us older folks have to use blood thinner. The vitamin K works just the opposite, so we cannot enjoy the Ensure when we have an eating problem. It would be really nice if you made a choice for us.
