These are exactly like the adult version. Deep pockets, plenty of stretch and the material is thick enough to not be see through on the grey pants. They do change color a bit if they get wet so sweat will show though. My daughter says they’re very comfortable.

But my daughter does play hard! She is 8.5 and tall and skinny, the 7/8 is slightly big around her waist but we rolled it once and it hit around her ankle and stayed up great.

Got these leggings for my 9 year old. She is between a size 8 and 10. Went ahead and got a 10/12 for her. They are a little big for her good thing she will eventually grow into them. They do feel soft, comfortable and stylish. Like that they have pockets that's a plus. Recommend.
