Easy set up with a diverter I bought separately. The only thing that this and most barrels have in common is a small faucet that is furnished. The water is restricted and comes out slow. Recommend replacing with a larger PVC valve from your local home builder supply

New home and we have way too much rain which was causing drainage issues for our yard and flowerbeds. We bought a rain barrel from Sam's Club previously at our old address and was so happy with it that we immediately went online and purchased another one. Nice colors, well constructed and easy to install. We did end up removing the screen and putting a downspout into the barrel due to rain washing over and onto the plants we planted in the top. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase and as Plus members we didn't have to pay shipping and there were so many styles and options to choose from online.

This is the second rain barrel we have bought. The first one came from another retailer, and cost the same, but didn’t come with the necessary hardware. This one came with everything you need, and was much easier, and looks better. the side spout makes it much easier to fill up a watering can!

A bit shorter than I thought a 50 gallon container should be but definitely is easy to put together and use. Hose valves are included and work well but only for filling watering cans as there is not "pressure" on the water so it comes out slow. Very good looking and fits well in spot we have it in.

I bought this rain barrel and it came with brass faucet that screw into a plastic/nylon receiver. It was very difficult to get the Fossett to screw in correctly and even when I did I have a small leak despite the use of plumbers tape. The unit is overall attractive and with the base should work well except for my leak.

This urn seemed so much more attractive than a 50-gallon barrel to catch rain water for my plants, and from a distance, it is. Unfortunately, likely since it is a big heavy piece of plastic, it is shipped (not inexpensively) in a cardboard box with absolutely no other wrapping whatsoever. Unpacking the urn, it clearly had a very stormy ride! The poor thing was beaten from side to side, scarred, decorative edging flattened. If this is an example of damage from a concussion, football should be illegal! Unlike others I did receive 2 working brass spigots, but the one on the right side is misplaced & of no use since it is against a wall. This is probably an issue for others as well & I wonder why there were not options for placement of the additional spigot by the manufacturer. Given this knowledge, I would choose another product.

One of the two spigots went in correctly, but the other would only go in at an angle. I fear it will fail fairly soon. The threads were not properly set and excessive glue was on the outside of the barrel. The product is attractive but the workmanship/quality is poor. I am only keeping it because it is too much trouble to return.

Fabulous rain barrel. Thought i was getting a brown barrel to match my house. It is GREY. very grey. Stone grey. I suppose the color says granite, and with some thought thats obviously grey, but the picture shows brown. Wanted brown. One can of brown spray paint later and its Perfect. And color matched exactly how I wanted. Turns out grey was ok. Looks gorgeous and spigots are really nice. Guess we will see how long it holds up.

Nice barrel but have to get creative with set up. Bought two barrels. One we cut a hole in the screen and put an accordion downspout extension thru it and into the barrel. Also drilled an overflow hole and attached a small hose. The other one we bought a diverted and attached it that way. That worked great. We also drilled a few small holes in the top plant area and covered it with a screen. Otherwise that bowl fills with water and doesnt drain. Like the double brass faucets. And look nice!

Looks very beautiful and convenient for catching rain, metal pipes look gorgeous. Gave only 4 stars, shipped with a btoken mesh, well a email to the rain barrel company, they sent me a new mesh. Fantastic customer service by the rain barrel company otherwise I would have to carry this back to samsclub.
