[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to get this Bentgo Salad set, but after it arrived I noticed some design flaws. Like the fork is pretty much useless. Its too flat and the teeth are not long enough. So even if you are a stabber, its difficult to eat your salad. Another is you can't use the bowl without the insert. Which to me is a downer because it would provide many more opportunities for use if you could use it without. Also the dressing container is hard to get the cover on and off. For the positive, its a nice size salad container for me. I do like the insert to keep items separate from each other and it prevents a soggy salad. Overall its just ok and am bummed I won't get as much use out of it as I thought I would.

I normally have my lunch box filled with various containers to have just 1 healthy meal. When she put the Bentgo Salad container in my box, I was intrigued. It looked pretty cool, and was a definite space saver. I opened up this world of tiny compartments holding my salad fixins all in this compact gadget, topped off with a fork! I like that I had everything within my reach and it took up no more room than a typical food container. I enjoyed assembling my salad and only using 1 container. It was also very easy to wash. I highly recommend this, for anyone!

I bought several salad containers to pack work lunches. I was concerned they would be too small, because I make some pretty decent sized salads. I was pleasantly surprised, the bowl is deep and holds (for me) a full size meal/salad. In the past, I disliked packing (or eating prepackaged) salad for lunch because the protein/toppings are on top of the greens, everything gets mixed in transit, add the dressing and then .. Stir, shake...? It doesn't work well - I end up with dressing gooped on my protein, naked greens, soggy croutons. For me, this bowl solves the lunch salad hassle. Toppings stay separated from greens, and when you take the divider tray out, you can dress the greens - there is still room to mix /toss lightly with the fork because the bowl is so deep. Then I add my toppings, it's perfect. The dressing container holds a lot - I usually don't fill it, but it holds so much you could use half on the greens and dump the rest on top if you like heavy dressing. The sectioned insert holds my toppings without mixing dry and wet. The two salads I prepped tonight are in the pics. Yes, that is 8 oz chicken, fitting easily, (although I do press it down and take pack it in there.) Other reviews have mentioned to be gentle with the lids' closing mechanism, but I will too: I was a little overzealous stacking the green lid in the dishwasher, the clasp caught on the side when I pushed in the dishwasher rack. (last pic) It seems like it broke pretty easily when I was rough with the dishwasher, but I've been using this bowl twice a week for 6 months - I've even dropped the whole assembly, while it was full (onto cement, and it bounced,) but it didn't crack or break at all when I dropped it, so it's not super fragile either. I'm requesting a replacement lid, and it makes me so happy that Bentgo backs up their products I'm actually going to buy more bowls just like it. Very happy with these bowls!!

In all honesty, I bought these containers because they’re super cute. BUT, I am absolutely in love with it’s functionality even more! The quality is great for the price, I love that the dressing container fits snugly in the middle AND I can separate items to prevent them from getting soggy! My kids even use it for their lunches, they like the idea of making homemade lunchables with separated compartments. The overall size isn’t super compact but I wouldn’t expect it to be since you wouldn’t want squished lettuce anyway. This is a must buy for anyone taking home lunch!

I just got this as a gift and LOVE IT but I lost my fork and they don’t sell a replacement so now I have to use a loose utensil and the little utensil space is useless. Otherwise, great quality and size is perfect for me. I’d like a bit more space above the tray but I make it work.

I bought two to help keep my partner and I on track while we are at work. We largely never took salads because they get soggy or our existing containers weren’t the best size. These containers are awesome. Keep all your toppings separate from your lettuce and mix when ready!! We now own 3 of them and the customer service we’ve received since has also been awesome. We’re definitely a Bentgo family!! Oh and all our coworkers have gone and bought the containers as well!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This container is perfect for taking fresh salad and the works with you on the go. It has a simple latch feature to secure everything together. The little sealed container for putting salad dressing is the perfect size to dress your salad and I especially love that there are a few other compartments for salad fixings. I especially love that I can put croutons in one of the compartments and not have to worry about them getting soggy. This is so perfect for salads on the go and it even includes a fork!

I bought this salad box and I love it. What I love the most about this is that it’s great for salad or anything else! It holds a good amount of food and had enough space as to not squish my lettuce. I could also easily fit a sandwich and chips in the bottom and use the top slots for more snacks.

I ordered two and the packaging was off unless it didn't come with any and one of the places where the fork goes was cracked and one was missing a fork and a dressing container. I don't know what happened but may order again in the future directly from them and not an outside store like before.
