Pricy but one of the best filters I've ever used.

Good product. Catch it with $6 savings. I bought the first set online, I wasn't sure if they had them at my club. It came sent to me in 3M box. Which to me is cool because they all fit in there and it keeps them clean and out of the way will storing the other 3. Turns out they did have them at my club so I just kept the box and store them in there. If you read on the internet there is a lot a variance on What people say about higher merv count and things of that nature. People in the trade definitely have a variance of options out there. I nerd out on that kind of stuff so let me give you a tidbit about what I found out. Generally the higher the better when it comes to MERV count to a max of 12 most residential HVAC. Higher the MERV the smaller the particulars it captures. So it will get powder versus sand lets say. Some filters (especially anything over 12 MERV) will filter too much in essences making your HVAC system harder to push through the filter. I don't know if i buy into either concept. After spending too much time researching this idea; biggest thing that keeps coming up is never buy higher than 12 MERV count for residential unless you have a special set up . Or if you furnace is older or you look it up in the manual and it says different I feel higher filtration the better.

Love this filter

I have been using these for years and loved them, till now. With this last package, we had issues with too much air flow restriction causing whistling and a louder, stronger air pull demand. Upon calling the Heating/Air service out, they advised that these pleated filters were the cause and to stop using them. Apparently there is no regulation for air flow and they have been advised by their (name brand) dealer to advise against using these.
