When I went to the tire department in October to purchase new tires, I was assisted by a very pleasant helpful young man, Nasshon who not only help me choose tires that fit my needs but advised me of the sale coming up in early November that would save me the installation fee. I love my new tires. They are not only attractive, but give me a smoother, softer ride as the Equinox is not known for a soft ride. (but I love my car). The price was the lower than any other tire store around my area as well. The wait for the install was less than an hour. All in all, it was a good experience.

These tires for me were a step in ride and traction. Their all around performance was more than I had expected. A good find and value.

Like the newest/safety tread design

It is to soon to rate the performance of the tires. Ask my again in 12 months when I have had more time to evaluate how well they really are. So far all I have to really go on is advertising hype. The tires appear to be good, but time will tell the true story.

After having a set of Michlin Cross Climates installed on my wife's Subaru Forrester a month earlier I found the GoodYear was offering a better rebate and a bit less price for the same if not a tiny bit better tire. I opted for the WeatherReady 2's for my Outback.. Figuring it will be fun to compare to two models on my own. These are All-Weather tires with the 3 peak snow rating not to be confused with All-season tires. The very next day We got a 10" snow in this part of OH! These things are amazing! Almost as good in deep snow as my dedicated Blizzaks winter tires. But I no longer worry about swapping tires twice a year. The two very slight downfalls I have noticed are: 1. Just a bit of tire growl over 60 mph 2. Over 500 miles I noticed my MPG dropped from 22.4 to 20.1 MPG I'll pay the price knowing how well these things stick to the road. My wife is very happy with her Michlin's, it's going to be fun comparing the two brands.

Good service appointment was quick

The tires went on fairly quickly and I was given some paperwork related to the purchase. When I got home, I notices there was a note to be sure to have the torque adjustment done after 50 miles. So, a few days later I brought the car back for the adjustment. The tech said that had already been done twice there at the shop during the installation. Which was a big inconvenience as I had to drive 28 miles to get there and of course 28 miles back costing me waisted time and gas. Disappointing!!!
