We bought one chair at BJs for pickup which was evidently the floor model because it was already put together. It had two small light-colored stains on the seat we didn’t think were that big a deal. We ordered the second chair from BJs and had it delivered to us. It was one day old when our two year old grandson came to visit and got sunscreen from his hands on many places on the chair. I tried to remove those spots with various cleaners, and nothing takes those stains off. The redwood color looks awful with those stains. The first chair’s light-colored marks must have been from food or people touching it at the store. You don’t want these chairs around young children.

We have had these chairs for a few years now. They do get some mold on them but we leave them outside all year round and live in the suburbs of Chicago so they see some weather. They clean up pretty easily. We have had some of the seating slats break but Lifetime has been great about replacing parts. They are very comfortable to sit in.

This HDPE material is the same thing cutting boards are made of. 3 years of being on our sun beaten porch and these look like new. Clean up to like new with a wet wash cloth and are super comfortable ! Now if they would make a matching grey foot stool out of this hdpe I would buy 2 in a second !

Several years ago, we purchased two Lifetime Adirondack chairs for our backyard. My paternal grandfather had built Adirondack chairs for his yard and these chairs are a fond memory from my childhood. Unfortunately, during the spring this year, a tree branch fell on one of the chairs and completely smashed it to pieces. I purchased a new chair in June 2025 as a replacement. Same color and all. My husband started to put it together and was pretty successful having put these chairs together before, until he got to the arms. The pre-formed screw holes did not line up properly. We are in the process of filling a warranty request.

My son put this chair together and one of the seat boards that came assembled was cracked at the screw. We decided to go ahead with the assembly anyway. He grumbled a bit as the tool supplied was not hardened metal and lasted only long enough to get the job done. The chair is very comfortable and is easy for me to get in and out of with ease. I am in my seventies and this was a big consideration for me. Everyone that has tried it says it is a very comfortable chair. I would purchase again. (As information the email I received asking for a review did not work.)

I have had two Adirondack chairs that were priced right, great comfort level, and are great looking. I leave them out all year round. Nice to sit outside in the sun on a winters day too. Recently a couple of seats slats broke on both chairs. I placed a call to Lifetime and was pleasantly surprised to have sent to me, free of charge, replacement seat parts. I am so pleased with the Lifetime product, I have recently purchased an outside Adirondack table.

I purchased 2 of these a little over a year ago. The chairs are very sturdy, which I like, but after noticing some color on back of my shorts after sitting in them recently, I wiped them down with a gentle microfiber towel dipped in a dawn dish detergent/water mix thinking maybe the chair was dirty. When drying the chair off, I realized the color was coming off. I only used a little soap/water, so nothing harsh and I kept them covered during winter under waterproof chair covers under a patio cover during winter. I only noticed it because I was wearing light colored shorts. Although I like how these chairs feel, I can't have people use them knowing the color will stain their clothes. Really disappointing something like this is happening. I see from other reviews, it's not just me either.

We were so excited about the two gray Adirondack chairs we purchased for our new home until we took it out of the box and began the assembly. The holes did not line up well, at all. One chair took 3 hours to assemble. We have had them for a week and the arm rests have spots all over them. Wish I bought a different brand and spent a little more money!

I purchased 2 Adirondack chairs 2 years ago. They are attractive and maintenance free. My gardener was rough with one as he was cutting the grass and one leg cracked. Lifetime replaced the broken piece...no questions asked. Hubby installed it and we are continuing to enjoy our chairs. Thanks so much!

My wife and I love spending time in Yosemite National Park. A few years ago we were there and had just finished riding our bikes and noticed these chairs on a deck near the bike rack. We were tired and decided to relax for a few minutes in those chairs. Well, a few minutes turned into an hour. I told my wife we need to buy these chairs for our home. We found out they were Lifetime chairs so we purchased them and have enjoyed them ever since.
