I was apprehensive when it was delivered and I first laid on it because I was used to a 4” memory foam topper on my hybrid mattress. It felt very firm to me. First night I slightly elevated my head and knees with adjustable base and slept very well. No hip aches or shoulder pain. Very happy so far with this BeautyRest Black Series One!

If you use box spring , it will be a little bit tall. Really comfy to sleep on- doesn’t sink down and cause back pain like other mattress. Plan to buy one more for my son bed

I feel completely supported but it is not too firm, I never wake up with back or neck pain anymore. I also never feel like I am overheating, I think this mattress does a good job regulating temperature.

I have been of fan of Beautyrest since my first mattress. When I decided to replace my existing mattress, I did not hesitate to stay with the Beautyrest brand. I found the best comfortable and supportive mattress for me; I feel it conform to my body contours with a comfortable support. It has taken me very little time to get used to this mattress. I don't regret this purchase - it is well worth the price!

I have slept on a Beautyrest for the last 10 years and loved it. I just got the Beautyrest Black series 2 to replace that one and I am so excited to sleep on it. The mattress itself is very luxurious and high quality. I have not slept on it yet, but laying on it in the store and when they delivered it, I know this mattress is perfect. It is firm and yet soft and I am looking forward to testing the cooling technology in this mattress.

I did not wake up hurting from my hips like I’ve done before with other beds. It’s a beautiful black mattress and would help hide stains. It is a great value for the price of the mattress!

It is awesome to own a mattress that when you’re sleeping you can’t feel your partner move. We get a very peaceful sleep because this mattress does not make you hot. I have been sleeping on the mattress for the last two weeks & I seriously cannot imagine sleeping on anything else now. I love this mattress! It’s amazingly comfortable. You sink into the mattress just right while it still provides plenty of support. This is incredibly important to me because I am disabled due to a chronic pain issue. Sleeping in the wrong bed makes it hard for me to function during the day at all. This bed feels like a strong comforting bear hug when you lay on it. The pillow top appears to be made of some type of cooling material & you actually feel noticeably cooler when you lay on it, so that's perfect for my partner who runs very warm naturally. Even at 16 inches thick, this mattress is still very lightweight at only 42 lbs. The weight is easy to move around & rotate, but for added convenience there are really strong, secure, good quality handles located on the sides of the mattress to help you grip it if you need to. I have no complaints about this mattress in the slightest. I can 100% recommend the Beautyrest Black 2024 Line 3 Medium Pillow Top Mattress to anyone who appreciates a medium density mattress & wants to sleep on a cloud that still fully supports all of your joints just right.

This mattress is very very comfortable when you’re first laying on it. It has a pretty thick pillow top for extra comfort. However, I do find myself sinking into the mattress quite a bit and once I am sunk in far enough, I begin to feel uncomfortable and like the bed is way too hard/firm. This mattress is supposed to be “medium” firmness and I agree that it probably would be once it was broken in and used for a couple of years. However, it is too firm for me and my boyfriend. We ended up putting an additional memory foam topper on it and now it seems to be pretty perfect for comfort! The biggest downfall of this mattress is how HEAVY it is. This is the heaviest mattress I’ve ever lifted. It was really tough to get in onto the bed frame even with my boyfriends help. I know mattresses get heavier with time as well since they collect dead skin cells and whatever else. This worries me for how heavy this mattress will be in a few years! I move a lot so it could potentially be an issue for that. However, the weight of this mattress proves to me how high quality and nice it is. I love that this mattress is black! Great for hiding dirt/moisture spots that inevitably happen over time. However, could be deceiving in the future if something does soak through the mattress and I can’t figure out where the stain is or if the stain has been removed or not. I suppose I will cross that bridge when I get there. The only other downfall of this mattress is that it’s very thick and high up. Luckily this isn’t an issue for me and my boyfriend because we are young and healthy. This would be an incredibly hard mattress to use if you had any sort of physical limitation or are of old age/lack height. When using this mattress with nothing on it but a fitted sheet, we did feel like it kept us cool and had great temperature control. Now that we have all of our other sheets and blankets and pads on the bed, that temperature control isn’t as good as it used to be. This mattress is incredibly expensive to purchase. I do think it’s worth the price if you are okay with the disadvantages mentioned above. It is incredibly durable, well-made, and supportive. I have a feeling I’ll have this mattress for years and years and years to come and it won’t do me wrong. Overall, I would recommend this mattress.
