works well, but fairly loud compared to the similar sized Sharp microwave from 2002, that it replaced

I wanted a sharp microwave because I have always thought that the sharp brand was very good. I received with package in excellent shape,but when taking microwave out of box and setting up in kitchen we notice the front panel was not push all the way in. My grandson push it in. (This is the part where you select your minutes.) the box was in great shape this had to be shipped this way. So far the microwave is working fine. Still disappointing.

What a great upgrade from my old microwave for only 50$ more than my old Hamilton Beach which was about 5 years old. This Sharp microwave works so much better for heating, defrosting and the control panel is much easier to use . This is also a sleek looking design . I couldn’t be happier with it !

these microwaves with my experience will last for a VERY long time. I only get a Sharp nothing else.. I like a new one from time to time , so my neighbor gets my "hand me down". My last one i gave up in 2000 and then she had it till just recently , just before Chistmass......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I researched microwaves before purchasing this Sharp model. The only thing it doesn’t have that I would have liked, is the keep warm function. For the price, it is a really good microwave. The dark interior looks nice, but is kind of hard to see inside when using. Hopefully it will last as long as my last one did (different brand).

love the size of this thing smaller than the normal gigantic microwave but yet has plenty of interior space can easily fit tall coffee cups like the kind you get in a convenience store and super large plates fit without any trouble Cooks wonderfully even and very powerful don't let the 1000 Watts deceive you this thing Cooks way better and faster than my old 1200 watt microwave I absolutely love it and it's quiet and the smudge free front actually works no fingerprints can't say enough good about this microwave!

Overall I love the microwave. I love the color, that it fits on my counter comfortable.
