We got him this foam mattress and he loves it. His back pains have gone away. It was easy to setup and it is made of good quality materials. I recommend it.

You open everything and it slowly puffs up and takes shape. Took a few days for the new smell to go away. So comfy five stars in my book.

It has the right amount of support and comfort that I have been looking for. From the first time I laid down I knew I had found what I had been looking for. I have the king size mattress and it fit perfectly on my existing frame actually better then my last mattress. There was a few times when I first got the mattress that I did over sleep. I get a restful night sleep every night and wake up well rested and energized with no lower back pain. Love this mattress THANK YOU ZINUS!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband had family coming in from out of town, and they were staying with us. We were one bed short. My husband picked up 4 wooden pallets from his workplace. He brought them down to our den, where he assembled the wooden pallets to create a bed frame. Next we unrolled this mattress, and placed it on top of the wooden pallets. I knew it was going to take some time to inflate after being decompressed. However, several days have gone by and the mattress doesn’t seem like it’s 100% inflated. I would say it’s at 85%. I thank my husband for coming up with the idea for the last minute bed. Thankfully, our nieces didn’t have to sleep on the couches. I asked them if the mattress was comfortable to sleep on, and they said it was firm, but provided nice support. We ended up using this mattress to replace the one we had in our guest room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband tosses and turns throughout the night and he eventually admitted that our current mattress was causing him extreme back pain which carried over into the day and while at work. We have used memory foam mattresses in the past and this mattress from Zinus seemed like a great option. It comes shipped in an extra large box and the mattress itself is vacuum packed. It is quite heavy, over 90+ lbs, so bring some muscle when carrying it into your home or to your bedroom if you’re not confident you can do it on your own. My recommendation would be to remove your current mattress and then put this one in place onto your box springs as best as you can before cutting through the vacuum seal, as it will immediately expand and make it difficult to maneuver. The mattress includes a nice little insert with instructions on the edge of the mattress wrapping which can be slipped out without disturbing the vacuum seal. We decided to set this up prior to leaving our home for the weekend so it expanded for almost 3 full days before it was actually used to sleep on. I did not notice any chemical smell on the mattress upon opening it or in the room after we returned which was a big positive. I didn’t measure to see if it expanded a full 12 inches high but it appeared solid and the material was pulled taut and not sagging. My husband and I prefer a king size bed, as we are both very light sleepers and need our own space to spread out. One thing I noticed is that I haven’t been waking when my husband comes to bed at night due to absorption of the movement. Another positive is that this mattress does not retain heat like some others and I stayed cool throughout the night. As far as the comfort level, it really is a great balance between being soft yet being firm at the same time. My husband is a stomach sleeper and I am a back sleeper yet we both found this mattress to be supportive and comfortable. Going with this memory foam mattress was a great decision and I definitely recommend it.
