My second set of Henckels knives. Much better set than the last knife set I had bought. Got this set $60.00 dollars off. Great way to sharpen knives as well.

I bought this set of knives for my wife as a Christmas present, assuming that the Henckels brand was still a quality blade. We have used this set of knives since Christmas, and unfortunately they are not worth the money at all. My wife loves the paring knife, but that is the only bright spot. The rest of the knives are just average quality, if that, with the exception of the steak knives - they may as well be butter knives. The serrated edges shred rather than slice meat, and there is no effective way to sharpen them properly. The "sharpening" feature built into the knife block does not work. In my opinion, there are far better choices, and I am now searching for them elsewhere.

These knives are just ok. This is my 3rd set of Henckels in 25 years and with each set the quality seems to go downhill a little. The knives are smaller and lighter than previous sets which makes them feel kind of chintzy. Attached is an example of the same knife from my old set (the larger knife) and the new set.. basically looks like a glorified cheese knife.

Love these knifes. Cuts well and stylish.

These are super sharp. Hope the built in sharpeners keep them that way. Impressed so far.

Knife block and knives are beautiful and sharp but block is large and knives seem to be a "sloppy" fit
