We have owned a TempurPedic mattress for many years, our old queen size was still as good as new, we put it in our guest room. My wife needed a firm mattress due to back and hip pain. The Tempur- ProAdapt Firm mattress was just the ticket. We have slept on it for 45 days and she has been pain free ever since. It takes at least 30 days to get broken in, at first it was too firm for me but now I am very comfortable sleeping on it.

Heaven!!!! That's how I feel with our mattress. I have limited time to sleep everynight so I need to fall asleep fast. As soon as I lay down, I fall asleep right away. I have a lower back condition, when I wake up and get up from my old mattress I get pain on my lower back but NOT this mattress, I get up with no pain. Sometimes it's hard to believe but it's true. My wife and I are very much happy with our mattress because it does relief us from our aches and pain.

We got our ProAdapt Medium Hybrid at the beginning of January, and I was a bit nervous because I heard that some people need a few weeks to adjust to their new Tempur-Pedic. But it was literally the best night sleep I had in awhile the very first night. Definitely get the medium hybrid if you're unsure on the level of firmness, and if you don't like that sinking in feeling. The added springs combined with the memory foam is perfect. Also me and my fiance are a bit on the hefty side and it's still holding up beautifully so don't worry about your weight. I also no longer wake up with back pain, so that's amazing. I know it's expensive, but it's worth it. I spent months researching mattress brands, and I realize that these things are pricey for a reason. Honestly if you need a sign to get it, here it is. Just do it.

I believe that owning a Tempur-Pedic mattress and pillow that is the right one for you is the key to achieving a restful night sleep and pain free. I no longer have to go for a biweekly massage that, oftentimes, only causes more neck and back pain. What is so wonderful about my Tempur-ProAdapt mattress is that it contours to the shape of my body. There are times when I do not lay my head on my Tempur-Pedic pillows, and that is absolutely fine too if you ask me. So far, I own two mattress from Tempur-Pedic and I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is going to last me more than 20 years. With care, weekly laundry-washing, and the soft touch of Tempur-Pedic bedsheets and pillow covers, I know for a fact that IT IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF ME! The mattress felt very firm from the start. It is not softening nearly as much as I want - it's still not like the showroom mattress or the two different soft tempur pedic mattresses I've slept on in the past. I'm 3 1/2 weeks in to the 'break in' period and I hope it improves soon. I'm disappointed - I was really looking forward to a great experience.

My old Tempurpedic had started to get too soft after atleast 15 years of use. I started to have trouble sleeping with lower back pain again. I checked out some other brands but they just didn't feel right when I tested them out. The minute I tried out a new Tempurpedic I knew i had found the right mattress. It took about a week to get used to the firmness of the new mattress - the first few days felt like sleeping on plywood but after about a week my backache is gone and I'm sleeping great again. Tempurpedics are expensive but they are worth the money.

Whatever you do stay away from this company for your mattress! They do not stand behind their products. Mattress didn't last more the. 2 years. Waste of money! You are better off buying an air mattress. They will find anyway they can not to stand behind what they sell! If I could give zero stars I would.

I was waking three to four times in a seven hour period with my previous mattress for years. I have had my mattress for about a month now. I wake 0-1 times a night now. But I do think that the bed base has a lot to do with it also. You really need them both to get the effect that you need.

We had recently purchased a Sleep Number bed/foundation that we were very unhappy with. We returned it and immediately purchased a Tempurpedic. We had looked at them several times prior to the Sleep Number bed. We are now thrilled and sleep great with the bedding.

I was sleeping on a 20+ year old mattress with a down mattress topper that was getting along in years also- needing a new bed I tried everything I could lay on. After going back to the same store 4 times I decided on the Pro adapt Hybrid because of the give and bounce from the springs and the promise of sleeping cooler with the cooling cover and the cooling layer. After sleeping on this bed for 3 weeks I was still very unsure of it, it didn't feel cushy enough and it is definitely not cooler (I sleep very warm). I recently spent the night at my brothers house sleeping on a firmer tempur-pedic and now my bed feels much more comfortable in comparison. So far so good, just really wish it was actually cooler and didn't hold the heat so drastically- even with cooling sheets. I'm really liking the comfort level at this point but my lower back pain and knee pain isn't much better. Fingers crossed for continual improvement the longer I sleep on it and get used to it. Just wish I loved it the way I wanted to love my new very expensive mattress.
