We have had our ProAdapt for about 3 weeks now and are still getting used to it - it is a huge departure from a conventional mattress and box spring. We both like the support we are getting, but find it a bit difficult to roll over and we find it "warm" (although that could be the change season too). I think with a bit more time we would probably give it 5-stars.

My wife really likes the TEMPUR-ProAdapt ... she sleeps much better, longer, and feels much more rested. For me, I wake up every hour or so, thankfully I go right back to sleep ... but the mattress feels hard, not comfy ... cannot sleep on my side as my shoulder starts to hurt almost immediately ... have to stay on my back. So, for me, it is ok, not great.

I purchased the Tempur-Pedic Model 10737150M mattress from Ashley Furniture in New Rochelle, NY, on June 8, 2024. I received the mattress in the first week of July but was traveling for the summer. Once I started using it, I gradually began experiencing severe back pain. By October, my back was so inflamed that I had to reach out to Ashley Furniture for assistance. To my surprise, I was informed that I had no warranty because I had bought the mattress as an "as-is" floor model. I explained that I didn't know they were selling defective products and that they should stand behind the items they sell, especially when it comes to something as expensive as a Tempur-Pedic mattress. They then told me to contact Tempur-Pedic directly if I believed the mattress was defective. However, despite multiple attempts to get in touch with Tempur-Pedic, I received no response. Now, I wake up in excruciating pain every morning, and I'm also experiencing significant discomfort in the middle of the night. I can only sleep on my back, and even then, the sleep I get is minimal. The mattress feels much too soft for a medium Tempur-Pedic, and I am in constant pain when sitting on it for any period of time. For context, I've had a Tempur-Pedic mattress for over 10 years without any issues, so I know how they should feel. This has been an absolutely horrible experience, and I feel like I've wasted my money. I will never purchase another Tempur-Pedic mattress again and strongly advise others to be cautious when considering a purchase. The pain and frustration I've experienced have made this an incredibly disappointing investment.

I bought the pro-adapt after trying several other mattresses over the past 3 years. I have arthritis and some fibromyalgia and have tried my best to use diet and exercise to manage it, but I was feeling worse and worse each morning. I was trying not to spend as much money but the mattress I purchased 3 yrs ago was a firm plush regular style and I knew after about a year that it wasn't working. I thought I'd get used to it....not! Finally decided I needed a new mattress and this time it would be super firm. I went and tried as many as I could and when I layed on the tempurpedic I didn't want to get up. I was encouraged to take 15-20 min to see if it was for me. I was also encouraged to get the medium but I was convinced I needed the firm. Unless you have back/bone issues that like the firm, I would definitely get the medium. I ended up getting a 3" tempurpedic topper until the mattress is fully broken in. I wake up with about 85-90% less pain and stiffness! I'd definitely recommend if you have any pressure point issues too. It's like a warm hug to my bones, but with lots of support so I feel like I've sunk into a cushioned yet firm mattress cloud! Best purchase by far!

From the first night on this mattress, my sleep was totally different. I sleep through the night even though I live right next to a train track that runs all night. My cat jumps on and off the bed during the night and that doesn't disturb me anymore, either. My back is feeling better than ever. I had done a lot of research and was back-and-forth on whether to get a Tempur Pedic or Purple mattress, and I feel like I made the right choice to go with Tempur Pedic. I love everything about this mattress.

These mattresses are very hard. It feel like you falling off if you sleep towards the edge. These mattresses doesn't form to your body when you move. Even after buying a foam topping for it, it is still hard. I had a king size Tempur-Pedic for 12 years prior to this these. We really love the Tempur-Pedic mattress. I gave it a 2 do to the hardness and not conforming to the body when moving. Just have to get a softer mattresses.

From an engineer & doctor couple... this is our 2nd Tempur-pedic and it just keeps getting better with age, no kidding. Our 1st, a queen bought in 2012, is going to one of the kids, because we upgraded to a king. The only problem with this brand is you get so spoiled that traveling becomes a chore knowing no hotel, cruise, or other family member's mattress will be as comfortable; unless of course its a Tempur-pedic. Find one on-sale and pull the trigger; you won't be disappointed. Also, don't be afraid to go for the firm level.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow what a difference from my old mattress set. My new Tempur-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid Mattress set has really improved my nights sleep. I have Back problems, osteoporosis arthritis in my hips and occasional bursitis in my shoulders. I am a side sleeper and needed a mattress that would work for my back problems, my hip problem and shoulder problem. A couple friends recommended a Tempurpedic mattress To me. I did a lot of research before buying trying to find a mattress that would work well for All my health issues. I certainly found it. My new Tempurpedic mattress Cushions my pressure points and Has reduced my pain so much That I am finally getting a peaceful nights sleep. Thank you Temurpedic for making such a great mattress.

Tempurpedic mattresses are always very comfortable and allow you to sleep all night - but the lack of a spring response in a typical Tempurpedic can make getting in and out of the bed - and undertaking any other activities that are better with a little bounce - somewhat tedious. However, the ProAdapt solves those issues - while maintaining the comfort of sleeping on a Tempurpedic, when you're sleeping.... I got the new adjustable base too and love it - the Zero Gravity setting is amazing. Note that the foot of the bed is up really high when you're in this position - like literally 4 feet off the ground - which is fine for the person in the bed but I can't imagine somebody else or a pet trying to join you or depart - instructions state that the bed should be flat when you get in and out of it so that shouldn't be an issue.

I love the new bed. It is really firm so I'm getting use to it. I think it will be perfect in about 6 months or so. I love the no pressure point aspect! My shoulders and hips don't get sore anymore. I love the cold feel too! My old bed made me hot and I'm not hot anymore. I put it on an adjustable bed frame and love it! The only issue is that the mattress slips off the side and I have to fix it or at least check it before getting into bed at night.
