Over the years (as I am 64) my back has degenerated to the point a regular mattress is NOT comfortable. A year ago I had spinal fusion and a spacer inserted in my lower back. Unfortunately, Scoliosis runs in my family and our daughter was born with it. The TempurPedic has been a great product for our family. I am so grateful this product is available to us through our Military Exchange. We are forever grateful TempurPedic supports the military. These mattresses are very hard. It feel like you falling off if you sleep towards the edge. These mattresses doesn't form to your body when you move. Even after buying a foam topping for it, it is still hard. I had a king size Tempur-Pedic for 12 years prior to this these. We really love the Tempur-Pedic mattress. I gave it a 2 do to the hardness and not conforming to the body when moving. Just have to get a softer mattresses.

I just bought my third Tempur-Pedic mattress. My 2003 mattress is still a running strong. My 2009 mattress is still running strong. I am giving that one away. The one that I bought this time is the Pro Adapt Firm, for the pressure relieving properties. I have never woke up with pains or aches. The mattresses just get better and better every night. If you are looking for a world class mattress, you found it. Pass the rest and buy a Tempur-Pedic. Those that think that they need a firm, think again. The Tempur-Pedics should be purchased according to feel. Just buy one, knowing that they are life changing mattresses. Also forget that they are a flat mattress. What matters most is how you wake up feeling. I write very reviews. I am writing this one for those that want a mattress that will out perform an of the other mattresses on the market. When I sleep, I want no pressure on my body. All of the Tempur-Pedics have pressure reliving properties. Sincerely, One that knows and understands that they are really World Class

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it! I have not been sleeping well for a long time and now I feel refreshed every morning. I,have the base too which allows me to sit up in bed, which is great for working at home in the mornings.

I bet 90% of my aches and pains have diminished or disappeared completely since owning my Tempurpedic. I am amazed and so glad I was able to find a mattress that does what it's suppose to. I have owned numerous mattresses in my day but this will be my forever mattress now. They are pricey but if it works for you then worth every penny!

First night and the mattress felt AMAZING! Even through the mattress's break-in period it still felt great! Little to no back pain next mornings, I can fall asleep much faster, and I wake up earlier feeling more restored and rested! Awesome mattress!

Quite firm upon delivery, outgassing quite strong nearly 3 weeks later. Though the mattress softened up nicely after about 2 weeks and is now very comfortable! I am an average temperature sleeper and live in Massachusetts, I do not feel like this mattress makes me hot at night. Overall pleased.

First few months it was great, but it's aged even more poorly than your average mattress and we seriously regret spending up for what we thought would be a quality product made to last. We did not buy the matching foundation, but our wood slats are well within the provided guidelines. Submitted a warranty claim, and until sag is bad enough you can see a full inch of sag without someone physically on the mattress they will not replace. Go with a cheaper option, you're not buying the product you think here.

As a result, my sleep quality has been greatly reduced for as long as I can remember. Since owning this mattress, my pain has been noticeably reduced. I am nowhere near as stiff as I used to be in the mornings. I fall asleep faster and stay cooler through the night as well. Excellent purchase. Would recommend. Would purchase again.
