We are enjoying our mattress. It is firm and offers good support. We're sleeping better on it and our backs are much happier. It does not quite bend the way we expected with the adjustable base, it more raises up at an angle. But we are very happy with the support that it offers.

This mattress has met our expectations. I wasn't sure at first because you can't just roll over like you would on conventional mattress. It takes some getting used to. It didn't take long and I don't know when I roll over. I never feel any motion from my partner.

This mattress was purchased as a last resort after years of medical and non-traditional remedies failed to address insomnia. The TEMPUR-ProAdapt Firm mattress is just what the doctor didn't know to order. I have sweet, uninterrupted dreams again. Thank you.

Our base showed up with a tear in the fabric from shipping, they sent out a replacement right away.

With our old mattress, we both felt like we were falling out of bed even when we were not close to the edge. My husband falls asleep immediately. He and I both seem to be more rested and having done nothing different than buy the new mattress, I have to attribute this to our purchase. Both of us seem to complain less about aches and pains. I attribute that to this very firm and supportive mattress that we are sleeping on. Was hesitant because it is an investment, but it is looking like this investment is going to pay off!

We went with a medium thinking it was the same firmness as our first. It was not!! But there was no problem switching it to the firm, excellent customer service, by the way, and the second mattress shipped within days. It's just right, not too firm not too soft. I have waited a few months to provide my review to allow my body and mind to adjust to the huge change. I was previously using a very cheap pillowtop mattress. After 3 months, I can say this is the most comfortable mattress I probably could own, unless I get a few tax brackets higher and find a gold plated cloud some how. My one issue is how I am a hot body person and sleep hot compared to most, I need the AC to blast to keep me from sweating at night because the temperature of my body is held by the bed very well and it is a little hard to stay asleep sometimes for that reason. For hot sleepers, I would recommend another option. As far as the softness, I got the softest option. I was hoping for the most lux feeling with having back support simultaneously. This went pretty well for me so far, but again, the softness makes the bed conform to your body, so when you have the fluffiness around the edges of your body, you are getting insulation from the bed, and that free heat may help or hurt some! I don't like that aspect but I keep AC high anyways because I'm very warm blooded. I haven't had any back problems since getting the bed and adjusting (adjustment took a week or two, body was sore to the bone while getting used to the new mattress). I was having weekly back problems from a car wreck a few years ago. I think I hit the nail on the head for the most part, but thinking back, I would have gotten a slightly-more-firm option than SOFT.

I'm a side sleeper, he's a back sleeper, our giant dog is an every where every way all over us sleeper and we are ALL sleeping fantastically well! Only downside is that the mattress depth makes finding properly fitting sheets difficult. Glad I picked up 2 sets from Tempur-Pedic with my promo cash. I definitely recommend getting a few sets of the sheets as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mattress after months of research online. We had slept on a Temper-Pedic two years ago on vacation and it was the best week of sleep. I finally just bought this one, and when I say I have never slept better, its an understatement. I actually sleep through the night now, and my husband who has a bad back hasn't complained in one month. It was a costly investment, but after the great sleep we are getting it is well worth it.

The thing I do not like about the mattress is that the middle of the mattress feels firm but the sides of the mattress feels softer which I thought the mattress would feel like all over. In the store, I only laid on the sides of the mattress and not in the middle because I thought the mattress would feel the same all over.
